Reports from the LS v B Ressies suggest that grub may have suffered an injury that may effect his ability to father children....waiting for medical reports but doesn't sound too good....

It may not be the official end of Bostons but from what I saw today they are at the end.
Imagine what a good side will do to them in coming weeks in good conditions. It was a sad day for Port Lincoln footy.
Any results from GF footy?

Souths at nearly full strength were a very good side on the day and will push the top 2 sides this year. Bostons with 9 out will improve by heaps and are nowhere near at the end 4 pulled out at the last minute leaving us no option but to play 5 u/17s who played a full game earlier. Too early to make assumptions like that OL obviously you have no idea about the local comp... Not a sad day at all for PL Footy Souths showed how good they are and the dedpleted tigers had a dip and at times showed they can be compettetive.

MR very impressive Sunday. 2x Parkers, Brooks, Watherston are big inclusions. Will more than cover Wcp, Boxer & Evo. Shouldn't be troubled being minor premiers.
Tasmans won't be the last team to get belted at Wangary this year. Needed the run.
Souths will push for top 2. Rival Rangers for the best spine. Also have a very good on ball division. Easty worth about 8 recruits. Had about 12 marks by 1/2 time.
Bostons- long season.

Hard to do the votes on Saturday, how ever
3 - A North - dominated against moderate opposition 8 goals from CHF
2 - Eckerman - continually linked up thru the centre
1 - D Taylor - 5 goals, always a threat. ]
What are your votes from yesterday wcp?
Every thing intact btb, correct weight! Wet heavy ball straight thru the arms!
Connasaince was $11 in th press, I knew we would't get that.... $3.70 fav. at the jump but never came into the race and was a total dissapointment. Sack it!

Ruley kicked another 8, should have been 11 or 12 by all reports. Had two posters and is 'struggling' with hamstring soreness, you were right Tips, he is on one leg. What will happen when he's fit????

Rangers had a 50 point win against the Roosters, yet the coach thought we played badly!! Brad Rynne was all class, Brooksy was fantastic at CHB and then FB on Rhino and M Parker showed enough of his wares to excite most Ranger fans. Wangary Oval still the best surface on EP.......

agree with the best surface, parker will find him self in that team and will get a few BOG's this year, will go close to best u/21 for the year.

hopefully ruley dosn't get fit, evidently ruley and joel fitz were sitting in the square, with adam richardson at half forward and simon pedler and CHF....what team could stop that? would love to see waybacks or MR V ramblers

Votes from Sunday

3 - Brad Rynne
2 - Chris Brooks
1 - Matt Parker

Grub, I've been asked to get a reply from you regarding the following. You missed an open goal from the top of the square then fell to the ground as if high contact had been made looking for a free when no one else was around? They reckon you looked like a reincarnation of Beat Davey!!

Boags, thats a big call, cosidering your sides form and players to come back. I thought playing down your teams hopes was Panthers role. You blokes out & out favs and I stated mid jan that you will go undefeated and if we going on round 1 form I saw nothing to change my mind.

Must say for the rangers to finish the way they did with only 40% of the play was good result.

MJ, Dodd and even Bascombe went OK, too much depth tho. Not sure on votes for MP wcp, he didn't dominate - but showed signs. But lock them in btb.
This flag favourites 'tag' is like a hot potato! no one wants it! Not much in it, MR forward line is awesome with Watho, B Murph, MP and Eski flaoting thru there... the teams like Tasmans, LS and MP will find it hard to match up on these types with their back pocket players.
What happend in the B grade all the talk of MR being undef premiers is now well and truly on hold. WCP will come in next week. Hankins Heros are back!

The best surface on the EP, I like half time when the kids have a sand castle competition in the middle.
What is the record score in a PL match? It could happen this weekend.
Bostons while I have a soft spot for them being my old club havent changed a bit. The Thorpe report on Grub was dirty, the number 11 that got sent off for carrying on like a w###er in the league game. Then their B grade coach tells me as I run out on the ground that 'I had never better play B grade again or he'd put me in hospital'. JJ turned to the bar and yelled unpleasantries during the game. It all starts on the field, it needs to be cleaned up. It was a day at the footy no body enjoyed.

You should know by now Grub, B grade form should only be read when there are approx 3 games to go!! When Ackers, Keely, J Doudle, C Hull & S Taylor come in the two's will strengthen.....
