Tunnel was started but scrapped when tests discovered some very shaky ground on or near the new Ravendale Complex.

Even Ramsey in his comments aluded ' to compliance to club player policies by others'.... what did he mean by that?

Reckon Waybacks should continue with tunnel plans. Just think of the possibilities for espionage -an offshoot tunnel to the opposing team's changerooms to listen in on the pre game and half time coaches talks. Maybe one to the netball courts. No perahps not cos Waybacks would probably man a gate there and let people into the complex via the tunnel for $2.50 to undercut the League gate. Wouldn't pay on a wet day though - 20 spectators @ $2.50 wouldn't cover costs.

Then again once you include the $5 for carpark it just might be worth it.

I agree with Eski - you cannot tolerate an official being disrespected like that. Surely that did NOTHING for the club. If anything, put it back a step.

The Axe only has one ride at PA Thurs and one at Balak tommorow, hows he going over there Eski? Be interesting to see how the Lincoln horses fare at PA? Our Holy Smoke would have to be a good chance after his last run when second behind Wanderribby here.
My best each-way is Putilla Princess, has won a 2YO race at PA so can handle the track, had no luck last start here, won at Clare before that. Will be each-way odds and can run a big race.

Yes you need players to come and help you out to get on field success, but who the hell wants to play for a club that tolerates that crap, and his team mates find it funny. Set a example to new families to town and locals that may think I might be able to help that club and give it ago.

Brett Watho no guts, I would think sporting wise probably the hardest decision he has ever had to make to not go back to Tigers, but by what happen on Saturady his decision may have already been justified.

Totally agree Eski. Bear in mind that it's very difficult (and sometimes impossible) to change the culture of any organisation or club and I would suggest that they are probably beyond change - especially when senior and so-called respectable players find this sort of conduct amusing...why do so many people see their existence as vital for the competition?? surely PLFL is better off without this sort of conduct and 30 goal thrashings each week??

He never sprayed it at the umpire eski get your facts right it was retaliation to some attention he was getting from another player i would not condone any attention given to umpires from players in any respect and if he had done that to an official he would have been dragged and suspended. As far as Brett Watho having a hard decision to make about where he would play this year i stick by my comment if he had any leadership qualities at all the decision would have been easy. Lead Bostons . The fact that he chose the easier option of playing at Rangers proves he doesnt have the guts to. Surely you would be more satisfied by kicking 5 goals at your old club where you grew up and where your old man was a legend than being spoon fed 10 goals or more by playing for the best team in the comp against them..

The Ram is doing a good job at the club and bad behaviour is not tolerated in any respect. I thought the game on Saturday was played in good spirit by the tigers and in a well disciplined manner. The blike did not squirt an umpire with a waterbottle it was an opposing player and there were no other incidents to reporton. I'd say thats an improvement and you guys should be able to see some of the changes being made at the club. Does any one really believe that we would have a better comp without Bostons there and if you do please tell me why...

Biggles, you need to have a chat to Brett yourself as to why he didn't go back to Bostons. His reasons will also explain why he only signed on for one year, he will be free as of 31/12/06. But if you keep your uniformed chastising up, we may well have him for the remainder of his playing days.....

WCP i know the reasons why i just dont get it. If you had the ability to change a club and you were in the position to why wouldnt you make a name for yourself. I respect Brett's decision and i'm not chastising him i just don't agree with it. When I got back to the club this year i felt out of place and hardly knew anyone but i'm glad i decided to go back there. I wish Brett had given the club a chance thats all..

Hey Panther, just curious as to what sort of contract Watho signed with Rangers for 1 year and why would it be until 31/12/06 when the footy season finishes as of end of September...

I don't know the contractual side of things real well but I'm pretty sure they normally expire on that date. Either way, he can go where he likes for the 2007 season.

Biggles, you are entitled to your opinion.....

Biggles, If not directed at umpire I retract that comment, but I was told it was & the matter was actually going further. But hey that Lincoln stories for you. I was at the game and thought you blokes slugged it out as good as you could, I just thought that a example could have been set & the opportunity was missed.

dead right there eski look its really hard down there at tigerland and we now have some great blokes at the helm of our club. I believe in them and i will do all i can to get us back and we will get back there. I hope Watho does come back next year it would help us out immensely as it would have done this year. As they say rome wasnt built in a day and i've only been here 5 minutes. One things for sure a full strength side with who we have this year with a big emphasis on discipline will see us earn a little respect this year.

Think you will find panther that for SANFL affiliated leagues there is only a 1 year contract which expires 31/12..'spose it is of little interest to the catering committee tho..
As for our longreach's comments re the BFC, I think we can officially consider him a troll. Buddy if you don't have anyhting constructive to say about this matter then post nothing.

The only thing that the BFC player in question did wrong was squirt the player when Jonesy was nearby. Hands up who hasn't done this b4....can't see too many hands there. Jeez use to have sword fights with Stevie M when we played Rangers....all a bit of fun.

Did anyone go and watch 5th v 6th at Cetenary. 46 scoring shots to 1 in wet conditions.
It may not be the official end of Bostons but from what I saw today they are at the end.
28/4/06
this could be their worst year ever (sorry rm) but things arent getting better? They should have programmed this round better 5th v 6th whos going to go watch that and then the good game is at Wangary. not good enough GF.

Buddy we all know they are struggling, but you seem intent on sinking the boots in at every opportunity. Maybe the fact that you have no real interest in the competition, and appear to have no idea about the vagaries of the PLFL allows you to snipe behind a faceless alias.
