Providing he's financial and doesn't live in either town, can't see how they can't clear him. Kersbrook had trouble getting a clearance for Ryan Hunter a few years ago, only because he still lived in Uraidla. TV have had plenty of players come to there club from other HFL clubs (Nearly Decimated Gumeracha Couple of years Back), and I can't see the HFL holding back his clearance after the regulation 3 week period. That's unless TV bring in a QC

Brad will get a clearance even if it goes to the clearance tribunal, big Gaz has made such a fool of himself the last two meetings at the HFL can anyone take him seriously?
He might lay out the big bucks but he doesn't own the guys who play there and the guys who love footy don't last long up with him just the money chasers

Are TV the real deal this year? I am innexperienced in the HFL, however know a couple of the guys who have headed up there this year... if they have some depth they will be a sensational team... where did they finish last year?

I'd expect the Torrens Valley Cheque Books to give their title a very good defend of it. Only problem being the Points System with all the new mercenaries joining them. Think the Top 5 to be the same with perhaps Nairne replacing Echunga. Good Comp last year with any of the Top 5 capable of winning it and I'd expect the same this year.

Brad Lees clearance (From TV to Kersbrook) to head to the HFL Tribunal.

Lee Hughes, Brendan Hughes, Adam Benzie, Andrew Webber and Brian Quill back to Kersbrook after a season with Elizabeth.

I see you bagged the Roosters on the Central thread Cougar about their "A" grade recruits..... How many quality players do you think are in this group from Elizabeth??... Hardly an A grade player in that lot.... Still might help you field a better B Grade side I guess

Yeah difference being we're in Div 2  Reckon Lee Hughes and Brian Quill would make most A grade sides going round  and the others will add depth. Go as far as saying Lee Hughes would be welcomed with a cheque at either TV or Birdwood.

That trial match for Nairne against Angaston will be interesting ... rematch with one S. Johnson now coaching the BLG Panthers ... although have heard he has apparently not set the world on fire, spooners in 2007. Chance for Rams to revenge a couple of prelim losses at the hands of Birdwood when under the 'hot gospel man'.

Off the ground, he isnt a to bad a bloke. But a bit of a fruit loop when coaching.
Not that I'm sticking up for him, but his record is pretty good.

I've heard that Corey Smelt, who played a handful of games at Glenelg in the 90's, and more recently has coached at Tailem Bend, and played a season at Mypolonga, might be playing for Kangarilla this year. Would be 35 this year, but could be handy playing in a forward pocket.

Lot of talk about $T.Valley - who exactly have they lost/picked up? Only definitely the Reynella guys?
Same for Kangies? Only a bloke that used to play for Strath - and no full forward?
Could be an open race in 2008...
