can't pull the wool over your eyes grub....I'm not convinced that we bat as deep as we did last year so will be interesting to see how both sides line up. Pity the weather might blunt the contest a bit tho...still honestly believe that the contest either way will be closer than what many of the cyber oundits predict.

I agree with BTB, I reckon there'll be bugger all in it, throughout the whole year actually. Should be 2 pretty competitive games each week.

The rule is that if you (The Coach) rings the opposition coach twenty four hours before the game and say that you've only got 16 players (for example) then the oppostition has to except that he can only play 16 players as well. This is what the Bostons B Grade coach did for this weekends game against Marble Range.

What a good rule and can I say that 16 a side in B grade is more than enough. Also heard tonite that T George was suspect and D Moore was not..also Paul Goodwin has adopted Nathan Thompson as his role model

This year the panel has decided to supply A grade and 17's as against a & b in previous years. We don't have to supply a B umpire this week, so I think you will find they will try to fill as many posies as they can. No doubt that they should supply umpires to 17's b4 b's....btw bet of the week is Carlton at $4.50 under 39.5 points....7/2 in a two horse race and collingwood arn't that good....get on and don't say I didn't tell u.

Does Scott Jarvis still play at Lincoln South?
He must have been there a while now.
I played with him at Mt Pleasant in the Hills as a junior. He was the stand out big man in the Comp back then.

Captain of LS this year and a gr8 stalwart of the club....elbows still as sharp as eva and a tough competitor...fair to say the LS defence relies on Scotty to hold it togethor.

What were the other results from yesterdays games? I was at Centenary watching Waybacks and South. Waybacks very lucky that footy isnt played in 5 quarters, or they could have come very close to being rolled...
