Broadview couldn't compete financially against GH, could it? And GH needs to hang onto his low point scorers otherwise TV don't have a team.

Don't think they'll be expecting enormous $$$$ and unless TV do go into another league next year it seems most of their players want a bit more of a challenge on the whole.

Maybe Clayton will honour the commitment he made to Paskeville last season which he reniged on as soon as GH wave a magic cheque book in front of him.
You obviously don't know them very well or the coin they're getting.
It's similar to your boss telling you he's gonna cut your wages, makes you fell sh*thouse, angry and you can't accept it because you get used to having it and living accordingly.
A little bit like sex too, so get as much as you can while you're young 'cause it soon dries up as you get older!

Fair points and no I don't know them very well but do have an idea what they're on and do think they'll be elsewhere even if I'm wrong about Broadview and if they are elsewhere they'll have to take less as there would be very few clubs across the state that would be willing to match what they're on now

Being very close to young Shaun and Kylie and can guarantee they are both required, needed and wanting to stay at Maccie next year. I reckon Micky D is a shoe in to stay too, but i'll ask him when I see him on the footy trip.

hate to be the pessimist but he signed at kangy for 2 years at the end of the 06 season after winning a flag then the lure of money pulled him away. hopefully he stays in the hfl but wouldnt be making guarantees yet!

in other news i heard brad lees put himself on the open market at mail medal night and spoke to every coach there asking what they are willing to pay. after speaking to him, maccy seemed to be his club of choice. would be a very handy pickup if the blood and tars got him!

Well as I was sitting next to the Maccy table, Leesy must've been in a bloody good disguise because I didn't see him at the medal count at all :? let alone talking to EVERY COACH there!!!

should get ur facts right first mate he signed for one year then after the grand final bout week later was still partying, so he took it home but signed it in front of the team manager and took it with him for a week and then the contract got changed they offered a little more and he never gave back the contract to the club still had it at home then when he wanted to leave there was another copy and the signature was spelt wrong and the dates were different to when he apparently signed and stringers signature so he had every right to try to leave

Brookers by 4 goals over Echunga. Even all day but they broke away in the last quarter.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

settle down mick, we all know its you.... glad to hear you'll be spending another year at maccy, but i must say this is gonna dent your chances at holding the record of most clubs played for in SA. maybe in 2011 you could try and fit in two teams for the season?? ;)

Daniele couldn't spend more than one season at Maccy surely, and what about the "travelling plumbers", Patman, Roughton etc??
How much grief did the little sandy headed bloke cause there this year?

Great effort by Dylan 'Mish' Bingos to come back from a Broken Jaw in 2 weeks on Saturday. 8 goals and Best Player in the Bs should see him back in for the Big one against Cheque Book Valley.

Hopefully the Courier Have a photo of the Echunga Full Forwards mark on the weekend. Would have to be one of the best marks I have seen in Country Div in a long time. Absolute Hanger! Taken over the Kersbrook Ruckman.
