Carter isnt as big a loss to TV as he wouldve been in the past. This year they have more than enough depth to cover his loss and if they happen to lose it wont be due to his absense, moreso a lack of coaching ability.

As for the game, Kersy will want a fast start like 2 weeks ago but also to carry it on throughout the game. The only way I can see them winning is to keep the game in tight, as soon as it breaks open they wont be able to handle the big fellas on the other side. McDowell looms as the key IMO, as well as the ruck battle. Its a tough game to tip for me, mostly due to the fact I hate both of these clubs with a passion. From a purely neutral point though, money cant always buy you happiness (so they say) but this year itll buy GE a premiership...... 5 goals TV I think.

I believe Kersbrook won by a goal from a fast finishing TV

Kersy definately were the far better side on the day and had they have kicked straight should have won by 6 goals. Brett James coached the side very well and Roger playing in the middle and Paul James would have had 30 touches each. Well done to your mob Cougar great to see the TV dynasty on the slide

Went up to watch yesterdays game to support a couple of mates who play for TV. A great game and Kersbrook by far the better team. Guys talking about dollars etc, but hows the lack of team-ship from the coach. One thing that amazed a couple of us was while all the supporters, support staff & assistant coach (assume was Carter) were all wearing the club shirt, the coach rocks up wearing his Ed Harry two-for-one special. Thought this sent a crap message to the 'team' by the leader group. It kind of reflected in how his team played. Any chance of Jacques tapping the ball to a team mate rather than grabbing the ball and doing it himself, what about the number of set shots taken from 50m into the breeze, most resulting in wayward or rushed behinds. If just two of those were put top of goal square and allow for a mark or crumbed goal could have been a different result.
Kersbrook were very good with Roger James must have been dropping his guts all first half coz noone wanted to go near him at stoppages in first half, then Clayton slowed the flow. That Lees guy up forward is exciting and while had patches, just creates when he gets near the ball. Felt sorry for the guy who had to try keep up with him. Finally, not sure who they are but impressed with the honest game of #21 & #26.
Final point, great atmosphere at the game with a few good sorts walking about. Good work boys in getting all the girls out there!

Went to Macclesfield too. Was a hellavu crowd. Didn't think there was that much between the two sides. Thought the difference was the coaches and that is why Kersbrook won.

I went up to Maccy for my first Hills Country experience and loved it. Bumper crowd and some really good footy. I was expecting a rabble and a poor standard because of the negative "Callington Style" press, but got a lot more than I bargained for. SAFM should have got behind this match and showed the legaues true colours.

Torrens Valley sponsors must be thinking "how much more $$$ do we have to fork out to win a flag"?
After that speech by James you may see the $$$ dry up down the Valley & the players ( recruits ) will all dissappear with it.

No-Mercy, I think you will find that there is only one real major sponsor at TV - and if he stays at the club, the $$ will keep flowing...........just to different players!!

Fantastic day at the footy yesterday, saw my beloved Brookers beat a team that most thought wouldn't be beaten. Goes to show that passion for your club goes a long way. TV had a lot of good players but didn't bond together as a team like Kersy did. Well done to Rog on his BOG although I think it should have been a tie with his little brother who kept us in the game and kicked five goals.
