this weeks prelim final to be played at arno bay(i think :? )
minis
cleve v rudall for me i think cleve will win this one.
colts
cowell v cleve/rudall cowell should win to set up a cracker GF with kimba there games this year have been very hard fought matches
b grade
ports v rudall pending on how many A graders fall back from rudall its a hard one to tip i could see rudall knocking of kimba in a GF with a stacked side after all they have done that a couple of times in the past
A grade
ports v cowell im going to tip the cats to win this one but i cant see either side beating kimba in the GF but you never no the have fallen at the last hurdle in the past when going through the year undefeated and then losing the big one ;)

it all comes down to on the day, the weight of expectation and nerves play a part and if you can get off to a good start and not let them get away early have more "hard ball gets" and take your chances in front of goal they might get a bit wobbly who knows you might be able to knock them off. but one thing is they are fit and have even contributors across the ground they rotate heavily through the midfield and off bench.

It would be nice for Ports to win it really, wouldn't it? No offence Cats. Haha.

It's been Kimba/Cowell grand finals since 2007 hasn't it?

yep "onsong" kimba and cowell have played in the last 4 GF 2 wins each, remembering cowell also won it in 06

and yes it would be nice for footy in general for ports to win an A grade flag. they have only played in 2 GF since the EEFL was formed, but while cowell are still in the race i think it would be nice for the cats to win it

just a note that rudall have only played in one GF since the EEFL was formed.

yeah they had a pretty good side that year just didnt know how to win it mayby if they could have had another year with the same squad, who knows

2001 i think it was smith, jerrys first year back dorward reid up from lincoln lovegrove had a good year kammaman from lock, roopena could name few more but i will leave that upto those in the know.

i did play on smith that year and learnt more in them games than any other apart from being clipped by primey a few times.

Kammermann came to Rudall a few years after that. Possibly 2003.

C grade winner nat wiseman from cowell r/ups sarah kenchington and chloe woolford both from kimba

C2 melissa funnell from cleve r/up was leah ramsey from cowell
