Backwell will not play at TV next year he is a contracted player at Glenelg. He isn't even allowed to play finals for his Darwin team cause of his contract. Hilly is the only player in Darwin that could possibly play, but he played last year for TV. My guess is he wont be there this year though at TV. Too busy at work and too much travelling. Heard a whisper the big man wants to concentrate on getting bigger as well.

My appologies if he has. Since when? I know it was reported in the media on the weekend that he had a meeting scheduled with the Bays this week in regards to playing finals in Darwin in which Glenelg werent to let him play. I know the TV boys very well and there has been no mention of Backwell to TV at all. Would be very surprised if he went, but stranger things have happened.

Well welcome back.....The Demons are on track and have now started training. The rumours are rubbish except perhaps Hab’s going home, but the coach as usual has provided ample replacements expect a Forward Line :ymbringiton: :ymbringiton: that can take advantage of the mosquito midfield this year.

TV are still a worry.
