I played for west torrens juniors & seniors a few years ago back when we came runners up in the shell shield twice in a row we lost to tea tree gully the first year then adelaide the following year
i actually first played against shane in a school match vs adelaide high thats when he made another hundred off only 40 balls probably some of the biggest / best hitting i have ever seen!

Yes he is with about another 10 players tommo has recruited from eastern park, smithfield, central united and paralowie. Maybe a full forward from golden grove as well, big shane scudds!

If this is the same shane scudds im thinking of i remember playing cricket against him & was a very big unit wouldn't imagine he would be too fit & chase too many full backs! Be interested to see what sort of impact he has in this comp!

Doesn't need to chase them when they are laying all over the ground around him like a warzone !!!
Lets see how many games they get out of him....

not alot would fit under his nose sugardaddy! And his head is so far up raidis's ass that he wouldn't know what is going on anyway!

I heard from a somewhat reliable source Heath Thorpes will return to the southern blues as coach.

Crichton you are doing a good job considering the pillaging the club recieved from an exiting coach!
Keep the good work up - you doing the hard yards and that is all that matters!
Who is one to criticise him when the tally of exits is as they were this year. He has brought players into the club which was needed & hopefully for him and Kangarilla they get some good results.

Get over it people!

pillaging the club from an exiting coach? thats exactly what crichton has done to cove and tried to do to CLG? its part of footy and you cannot blame an ex player (not coach) for approaching guys he knows to play for him, and that was back in 2008. happens at every club every year!

why did these players who left this year actually leave? im very confident it was not for money... a jamien stringer had a meeting with the coach and then decided to move to strath. dont think you can put that one on past coaches or other clubs

reckon its rough to blame corey smelt or wayne stringer for the shape the list is in. most players who played last year at kangarilla are there still with two or three reasonably adept inclusions. might not set the world on fire but will do some damage in the country comp

Not having a go at anyone 1250. I just think Paul is doing a good job & is copping some flack on here when I know he is busting his balls to make as best fist of it he can. I know players move and shite happens.
Not blaming any past coaches - players move for different reasons but again I think he is doing a good job so far!
Has to be something other to talk about other than Smelt and Crichton.
I reckon Kangarilla are capable of going very well this year and I hope they do.

H. Thorpe is coming back!!!!! Trent is the better player.
I think H Thorpe would only play, if this is the case the 2011 coach at Kangarilla ( C Willis ) will have a ready made flag, we have watched his coaching progress for the last couple of years and if you ask anybody they will tell you he is ready
Not to down play his partner in coaching crime C Smelt, both of these boys will show a fair amount of Guts, they both must be rich as by the look of them, they spend heaps of money on KFC, not to mention smelts 100kg mate Raidius.

Gouldberg your thoughts? as you seem to be a very smart man

Benchmark your thoughts? Remember "say it don't spray it"

Played an assoc game against him one day, 1st ball caught on the boundary, was bit on controversy as to whether it was over or not so was given not out.. next over smashed 5x 6's and a 4 and went on to hit abt 80 off very few balls.. we lost by around 30 runs :'( can def hit a big ball!
