According to HS Great Flinders will win every Mortlock for the rest of time now that the system is fairer. Absolute stroll in the park for GF tommorow. Big clashes with LD and FW!!!!

So what did we all think of the new Mortlock, what did you like about it? what didnt you like about it? What did everyone think of the beer prices? ....hic.

Anybody wanting to dine at the new ravendale sporting complex, Oh I mean the tasman footy club, better take plenty of coin. Rumour has it they are charging $18 for a snitzel. It'd want to be a fair size and include a complimentary schooner for that price! I give the place 9 months and tasmans will post their share of the establishment on EBAY.

I thought the concept was good as it eliminates the Far West first game factor that hindered previous Mortlocks.
great flinders were the best team and deserved thier win. City showed a bit more than I thought they would over the weekend. districts were well undermanned due to being marble range only. mid west in their crunch game on saturday against flinders were shocking a didnt deserve to win.
All in all a good weekend put on by the town, better facilities will improve the weekend.
This internet site was printed out and shown around the football on saturday, people are editing what we say on here and showing certain sections making it look bad. To these people get a life.
Bit of jealousy there windsordemon, only bangers and mash available at Waybacks, you would have never seen quality dining before. $18 snitzel also includes gravy, salad bar and two triangles of bread!
Lincoln South have indicated they will in 10 years offer Tasmans half what they paid for the complex.

Far from jelous OL, you can see the new scoreboard just as well from over the road. Hopefully souths halve the price of the snitzels aswell!!!

So you can sit in Waybacks and watch from there that would be good! Similar sort of view from the complex is it? you DH! You cant see the game but you could sit there from the front of waybacks and watch the scoreboard all day listening to car horns waiting for the scoreboard to change, that would be a good day at Waybacks.
Each time they sell a snitzel it has paid for one brick! only 19, 996 snitzels to go!

The new mortlock: very hard on teh players, but atleast you know if you've won, you've beaten eveyone - great for footy and great for the fans. It will take some getting used to but footy is the winner.
As for $18 schnitys, they'd want to be about 2ft long

new format is fairer and better for spectators, definitly harder on players . the high concertration of JW still in my blood made today that little bit harder than it should have been. paul boxer wins his first mortlock after trying 10 times with LD . he was a happy man after the game.

good to get back to lincoln and see the new format. Its gonna take the old players out of the game, once they cool down they wont be able to get up for the second game. and grub on the beer prices, yeah it was ridiculous, forced me to get on the scotch and therefore i struggled to see nightfall.
