If that is true about Scott Charman, that is an amazing rise to fame.
It would have been a while since a Port Lincoln player was recruited MID season to play SANFL reserves without ever playing a junior SANFL game.
Didn't he play mostly B Grade last year?

Should be a great experience for him, I hope he goes well.

I remember playing under 14's with him and he was 6ft and could hardly run let alone kick or mark.

He has certainly improved enormously over the last few years since he has grown into his body.

Is definitely true, Bob Clayton is trying to track down a pair of size 18 boots for him!! His current boots are 3 years old and held together with tape, apparently size 18 are hard to source but Aaron Sandilands wears them so they're on to him!! He still has a lot of work to do on his footy skills but if anyone's seen him on the Basketball court they'd know his ball skills are very good and there's plenty to work with. Ruckman mature as footballers later and with his size his best is still probably a couple of years away if his potential is realised.

BTB & TRR i know i'm a bit late but the "no excuses" comment was aimed at us not you guys. if i was an official i'd vote the combination.
MB i'm very curious to see if BC will line up at full forward. i dont think you guys can sacrafice him there against us. to much of a loss around the ground. don't know how hamstring hunt will go , i'll catch up with him tonight and test it out. hope the weather hold up ok.

I told you so....
everyone laughed at me when I said this was a danger game... Mooney Johncock will be back before June 30 also... they will be a threat later in the year. Whos flag favourite now panther?
Ben Hogan, Sam Reid and Adam Ryan have signed for Tumby Bay today after disappointing efforts from their sides down here. Reid and Ryan dont get on with their coach and Hogan has had enough of Lincoln South.

OL ..... Where do you drag this shi* from???? Ben Hogan will not play for Tumby this year due to work commitments. Can confirm he has trained, but will not play at this stage. AR & SR are Tasmans players to my knowledege. The only players to come back for Tumby from yesterdays side are Syd Lawrie, Steve Lawrie, Dylan Higgins and the possible return of a former TB player late season???

First game at Ravendale, learnt one thing very quickly!! Don't mention their new clubrooms in your banter, I dropped this one to the heirachy 'You blokes better get a win out here soon or you'll have a complex'. Was not taken at all well, didn't get the humourous responses I'd expect at a footy game and they were genuinely angry and obviously very sensitive about it all at the moment!! There was plenty of banter when they beat us at Wangary last year though......

On to the game, poor kicking in the second quarter kept it tighter than it should have been. We only did what we had to all day and the performance won't win any GF's but good enough at this time of year. Toka's good on MJ, JO'B again very good although a yellow card in the 2nd quarter followed by a late report could see him get a game. Tall fella for Tasmans (No. 15 Davey?) has a crack and I was impressed by some of his marking around the ground.

footnote : Jarrod Doudle hasn't lost anything and for his first game in 5 years was brilliant. Will probably have 3 or 4 more in the two's then go up for the last round I'd imagine. Was great to be reminded of how good he is......

tumby to good in the end for us, we were up by 10 points at half time then tumby caused a heap of unforced errors and capatalized on every oppotunity. Scruff played well but got injured just before half time and had to go off...clearly not match fit but he'll be right in a couple of weeks. we ended up losing by 4 goals with tumby's center line the clear difference between the two teams

Has the League done program changes for this week or is it as the following taken from the PLFL site

Round: 7
Saturday, June 24th Tasman vs Mallee Park (Mallee Park)
Saturday, June 24th Marble Range vs Boston (Ravendale)
Saturday, June 24th Wayback vs Lincoln South (Poole)

Appears the B grade is turning out a close comp this year, ladder after Saturdays games

Waybacks 10 59.07%
Tasmans 8 57.64%
Rangers 6 63.50%
Souths 6 52.63%
Peckers 6 51.07%

Any report on your game Bish? We had a very strong side on Saturday with some young, speedy on ballers that always helps.

I heard that W fielded a not-so-strong A grade. Confirmation?
And is Schuppan out for the year?
WCP - don't use those out at Ravendale as a gauge for humour. Just keep doing what you do. I loved the 'complex' jibe.
