Hockey people sit back in your corner, you may have a decent complex due to the government and the Tasman FC but never think you are above or tougher than us.
The first letter by the Marble Range person wasnt handled well but to reply like that hockey 'official' did just shows there mentality. Id be more worried about paying back the $700,000 loan than worrying what someone writes in a letter to the editor. I mean where is this money going to come from? functions everynite? they have to look at putting in pokies!
What did the letter from the PLCA mean bystander? what were they trying to say? They dont like Burfitt? I cant believe he got past North Shields the other week!
Tasmans are not allowed to put their honour board up at the complex , I just believe they have sold their souls and have no identity now! no where to call home.

What do you mean White Tips? The letter was good to know how the other side is feeling about things down there....... know we know - they are ultra touchy and very nervous! I dont think the guy who wrote the letter today did himself any favours though
I liked WCpanthers post on night footy, well spoken and posative
and we cant have a fence around the boundry due to baseball field! Same OLD ravendale for mine! bring back Theo Mastrosavis and his hot chips caravan

In the local paper in the letters to the editor section. It is a must read. Very Sarcastic. Those guys will never give up and there right they have the majority of the support behind them.
well its after 4 and the complex is open , see you all out there for a beer.
MB my info may have been slightly off re the tumby recruits, but it was first stated on here by TRR. is he a lion c$$t ?

both sides have their views which is fine, its interesting to just sit back and watch all this interaction between the Lovers (of ravendale) and the haters. Game ON!!!!!

Now I might be a dumb plumber but buggered if i could understand what point your boss was trying to make tips. Although he was on the money when he said that noone knows what the score is and that it is too hard to get a park. As for mighty bomber calling our longreach a lion c##t I think that was out of line. Lions are very noble animals pacer. a simple c##t would be sufficient.
Now here is a rumor for you. One of the Eagles best remaining players may become a cat very soon.

?????What letter???

Have now read the said letter, being from 8 life members of PLCA, NOT the PLCA itself, but anyway, seems pretty self explanatory to me. Is in response to Burfitts letter to the ed. in PLT 8/6/06. For the PLCA to sign the memorandum to play cricket at ravendale & have all the bells & whistles that go with it, as stated in point 4.16 of the memorandum of understanding, (yes i have a copy!), "On provision of the wickets at Ravendale Sports Complex the Port Lincoln Cricket Association will relinquish the use and interest in the existing Turf Wicket as located at Centenary Oval.". Meaning there would NOT be cricket played AT ALL at Centenary Oval this coming season. Although not 100% sure i believe the memorandum given to the PLFL was worded similarly, so that Mortlock Shield or last game of this season would be it!!!
At the time of PLCA receiving this Memorandum, it was stated to Mr Burfitt that it was a great idea BUT could this clause be removed, to which he gave a flat NO, & therefore the PLCA did not sign it. Hope that clears it up for you OL!

Dalton,

How p*#s weak are the SANFL, they have scrapped the plans to send the South Australian Country Side to the gold coast this year for The Aussie Country Champs.!! Now we are the only state not sending a side. Even Tassie and New Zealand are sending sides. And they bitch and moan when blokes dont play in the zone games!!!!!!!!

Forgive the ignorance, it's Cowell Cats is it? A Souths player going there? Is that what we're getting at.
Sorry, still got massive shivers from the round ball game this morning. How good it is to be Aussie!

Who wanted to choke our goalie when he missed that sitter!! He could have ended up like that Colombian player a few years ago, gunned down in the carpark!!

Not sure if he'll make it to the carpark.
Disgrace. They went for height, fair enough. But obviously it was too far down to the ground to realise where the ball was.
The rest of the team were fantastic, the ref...officiated his last game, ever. He better not ever holiday in this country.

I could let you know this w/end if Goldsmith plays.
Onkas have started winning, that may be enough to get him back.
