Talk on any country footy league or club from the SA Country area

Postby rangerbob » Mon Jun 26, 2006 2:13 pm

wcp, went down to noarlunga yesterday, great with all the cars around ground, gives the country atmosphere.
You woulda been happy with the score line, think it was a souths training drill.
Saw half of the reserves with scotty charman, got a lot of work to do if he wants to stay over. If he wants to have a crack, i reckon he'll need to come over and have a preseason and get the fitness he'll need.

What crime did you do to get sentenced to an arvo at Noarlunga?

It physically pains me to say this, but: OL, that was mildly amusing.
Well done to MR and W for organising this Saturday's shin dig. There's obviously some hate there (as is with all opponents0, but when you can put it behind you AFTER a game, that's when footy's at it's best.
is Tumby getting Read worth it? Would it be enough for them to get over Ramblers on the big day in September?
That's about, what 2 grand or so in payments between now & then...

Listened to it on the radio rangerbob, kept waiting for South to fall over and Port to hit back. Very satisfied with the result.....

Heard a funny one this morning.

Question: What do Paul and Simon Goodwin have in common?
Answer: Neither played on the weekend.

What guarantees have we got that rangers will support this new bi-partison agreement when we play in Round 13?

For Waybackers & Rangers players and supporters- bus organised from Wangary back to Pt Lincoln Saturday night (car pool out there with a designated driver/ wife/ girlfriend).
Rules from the bus driver: Unfortunately no u/18's on the bus due to liquor licence restriction. No glass on bus (can's only).

I assume we'll be able to grab takeaways from Rangers bar for the trip back.
$10 prior to Friday 30/6 to me (drop into Hazeal Newman Rogalski and ask to see the Financial Planner), Braden Mcevoy or Minya/ Cove04/Cove03/ Cove05 (ANZ) books a seat. $15 on the Saturday if there are any seats left.
Anyone from Great Flinders is welcome to come to the Gary and bus it into to Lincoln also.
Already have a few guys paid up. Should be a good night.

[Reid to Tumby suprise there ($250 game), where did I hear that before? MB? The club and Wally arent to worried about loosing Reid. Never followed instructions and was always first to loose it - no brains.

$250 a game hey OL ... that just confirms my previous post regarding you and the lion.
I think you need to understand the circumstances regarding his decision to play with Tumby before you make such rash judgements.
For the record, not a cent has, and not a cent will change hands with Sam or the club.

OL makes some outlandish comments at times and I certainly didn't expect Sam Reid to be switching to Tumby. Where there's smoke, there's fire????

The bus will be back well before 2am- Bunsen needs his beauty sleep. Can also hear the whips cracking whenever a proposed departure time is discussed with any players with wives/ girlfriends.

SR the only bloke i know to get reported on a mortlock weekend. he'll fit in well at tumby. another tall bloke is just what they needed. not. time will tell , see how he goes. cougars might be getting desperate enough to call up groink. groink v SR love to see it.
WT written your book on 'what not to do on a thurs night before footy" yet. sooner they have scoth cans the better.
D rule 5 goals in an 8 goal total. time to double teami think.
WCP = correct with preseason prediction on rules game impact.

I am sure he would have played if his groin wasn't injured and his foot didn't have gout!
