This is my point- everyone has to pay money- the distance alone ensures that is the case- I found it just a bit harsh that you say Peake were pathetic and lack spirit. They have had it pretty tough and I know for a fact that they have worked pretty hard at improving this year. I think carey is only relaying a couple of stories that lots of people have heard (read Crowmunchers post) re the amount of coin Murrayville are paying- and whatever it is goodluck to them!!
By the way Crowie- won't be long b4 you are back on the Peake bashing wagon!
never said anything about peake being pathetic and lack spirit ,i think that was mallee bull standing up for his club after carey 18 had a crack and what would crowmuncher know aboubt murrayvillie player payments he is not the treasurer or president. any way good to see there is some passionate people out there who will stand up for there clubs and there is still plenty of rivalry left in the mallee

Relax warhorse ok it all started when someone said we had no spirit and the club should fold ok. From what i have lernt is that Peake have struggled for a while and they are trying to get things back on track. I hope crane is on a lot of money because he can play but gee he sooks!

Drooper's a good bloke.
Can play footy apparently - gun cricketer too.
I saw him hit a ball onto Brighton Road at Glenelg once.

malleebull tell me what sort of a league would it be without our socalled weak pathetic passionless side in it, five team comp that would be handy wouldn,t it. fairdinkum for you to make a comment like that about a team my team at that, it just shows the quality a people that we have to put up with in this world ****. Ive been at the club all my life and you wouldnt find a more passinate group of people if you tried, tell me how would murrayvillle be if had struggled last 10 years I will tell you they would have shut the doors down 5 years ago because they are and always will be front runners. Also if you have spent the money they said you have hell its money well spent (pigs arse) your not that good mate i'll give you the hot tip!!!!!!!!!!!

The standard of particular teams changes from year to year depending on the mass influx of players and who has been able to spend wisely- remember it was last year that Peake cleaned up Murrayville- now Peake have improved and while I have no doubt that Murrayville guys are locals they don't travel from Adelaide for nothing! It is fact that those Mallee teams have to spend $$-karoonda have been getting busloads for years- who spends it best this year will be seen!

great point bigdog i think it is a credit to all involved in peake to put 4 footy teams and 5 netball teams on the oval and courts every week for fu@k sake there is a hall an oval a netball court and a pub thats about it in peake the club is full of the nicest and passionate people i'v ever met and it's a credit to them for the way that club is run so i suggest unless you know what your on about it might just be good not to say anything at all .
you guys need to worry about your own pathetic side. your club has no passion or direction.get real instead of all getting carried away with bullshit.
ahhh....you boys certainly are passionate down there in the mallee... good to see you all fired up!

Some interesting results over the weekend too, Pinnaroo the big surprise for me.... I didn't think that they would have beaten the old crows n both the B's and the A's...

Murrayville got the honors (who knows where they will be at this year, sounds like still a few to come back in still)...Malleebull...an interesting quote considering a town of 30 or so cleaned you up in everything but the A grade... knowing a bit of the Peake Story, I can imagine it would take a fair bit of passion just to run a club for so long in a place like Peake...

and lameroo look like they will be as strong as ever, from an outsiders point of view it does seem like they are the team to beat so far this year.... the mallee league is certainly on the way up.... keep it up boys....
