Interesting result in the Boston v Tasman under 17's on Saturday. The tigers needed to win against the top side to secure the double chance. Obviously played well on the day to win by 5 or so goals. Should be a very interesting finals series in the 17's.

During the season I thought the tassie boys were the dominant team but to the Boston boys credit they continued to improve and I think I'm right in saying have beaten the roosters in their previous two matches. Both teams are well coached and well drilled. Mallee's are the team that could spoil the party. As usual the have some very good talented players but I don't think they have alround defensive game to beat the other two.

As a footy fan in port Lincoln it's great to see the tigers have a good set of junior teams coming through. Well done to them, I'm sure they are excited about there future.

For what it's worth, my tip for the U/17 flag is Tasmans.

Good luck

Wasn't in town on the weekend, but I think both sides had a few quality players not playing. Sources tell me that MP had Choppy, Mallee, Quade, Rob Jack, Mooney and Orion resting.
Let us in on the rumors Ken.
