Never heard him say "carry'n on like a marble ranger"

Whooaa!! Got some big bites there!!!

Sorry Daics & KWF, I must have hit pretty close to the mark to get some bites like that. Calm down, not getting personal, just saying what everyone involved with EP footy knows and thinks.

Apologies again Daics, but you said it lad. ;)

If all of your lives are so rosy your biggest concern is to be the keyboard warrior and whinge about this stuff, then you have to be fairly content in everything other facet of your life.
Play on, there's four ripper games coming up (and a boil over in the 13's)...

Is the PLFL really this bad? Seems to be a bit of a worry (at least for me) for recruiting new players if it's all over the shop like being suggested here.

Maybe the EEFL or GFFL will be the best bet to go to if it's as bad as what is being suggested.

Fortunately I'll never be invited to any mail medal counts, so at least that stress is something I can avoid ;)

Panther, votes from the last BFC/MR clash:

3. Calderwood
2. M. Parker
1. Ky Miller

Darcey Harvey WTF
I knew Darcey for over 40 years and the family but seriously
One even married a Marble Ranger.
We arent squealing we were beaten by a better side on the day no complaints
we wish them all the best for this week.Unfortunately we were unable to keep what was a talented list
on the park each week.
We will spend the next six months working
on improving our list especially with our young talent thats coming through.
Our aim is to play finals footy and win a premiership.

Sorry have to disagree Kenny,
You may wish them all the best but i'll be barracking for the peckers.

to the wayback supporter who called our players girls as they walked off the ground after the game, you should be ashamed. No one minds the comments to players during the game however that was just low.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Heard Darce say lots of things over forty years BTB and there has been a lot of healthy rivalry
for many years, and hopefully for many years to come.
Darcy comments werent limited to other clubs, I do remember him saying one particular Demon Agrader
couldnt kick over a jam jar.
We arent whinging about the result, yes we are dissapointed in our year, its fair to say we hoped to go
one better than last year not one worse! Next year with Reinke, Magic. Hanson,Christian, Daniels and Frick available
we will be looking forward to our first game against the Demons :)

PL Footy is not this bad, there is a couple teams / officials who do a lot of complaining about decisions / umpires reports, if the players / clubs didnt break the rules there wouldn't be any issues.

enough said about whats gone on the last few weeks/days lets just start to talk about the upcoming grand finals, good luck to all teams playing

Yeah, let's hear some genuine thoughts, especially for those of us that can't be there. My heart's with the Dees & it sounds like a mixed bag of results between them & the Peckers, so...what'll decide it on the big day?

Over the course of the year it's 2 wins each against each other.
In round 5 the dee's tall forwards dominated and ended winning by about 6 goals.
In round 10 the Mallee pk runners played well and Malcolm Miller kicked the winning goal late in the last qtr, getting them over the line by 5pts.
In round 15 both teams knew they had the double chance sewn up so there wasn't much hanging on the result. Mallees were 4 goals up at half time with rhys jackamarra kicking six in a half. He was brilliant. Changes were made and the dees started to control the game and ended up winning by 5 or so. Both teams had significant players out.
2nd semi- Mallee's won by 6-7 goals, Harry Miller Jnr was clearly BOG. He kicked a goal in front of the canteen/bar in the 3rd qtr that was pure class. Brilliant goal. The Mallee park runners were awesome on a day when there wern't many positives for the Demons.

Hopefully the demons can reverse that result this week.

This matter came up at league meeting last nite Sonya and the guilty party was escorted from the ground by Dirty Harry. Was not Pobke and definately not a Demon supporter.
Also DJ is our under 15 coach for the record, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good story...

Actually BTB not a story at all.
Ive heard him over the last few years and he is certainly now the worst, most abusive
person in the league. I have had my 13 yo son on the end of his comments far from impressed.
He has been spoken to by umpires about his behaviour but doesnt seem to be able to curb his rage.

FFS Ken my comments related to Sonya's disregard for accuracy in his comment.

The issue you both are referring to was handled by the club and hopefully the parties involved have learned. We don't condone umpire abuse at any level, especially junior grades.

Lets not dredge up issues like this, as you may not be happy where it end...............

And its obviously not OK to suggest a player played like a girl, but is OK to question their sexual preference????
