If you played 200 at Kersbrook you're no where near the Top listed players, but if you reached that milestone at Birdwood, you might be the Games Record Holder!

As Hutchy would say Cougar "Bad Call"!!
You're not paying much respect to the likes of Trevor Mueller, Bazz Pfeiffer, Trev Gladigau, Terry Coad, Trev Schutz etc. who some of those have got 400+ games under their belt.
And I would take Bazz Pfeiffer before any of the guys you named every day of the week and twice on Sundy!!

Did you read your honours board Gimp ;) Those guys were in their 'Hey Day' in the 60s,70s and 80s. But since then apart from the Stu Moerman blokes just don't hang around.

As for Bazz, how many AFL flags did he play in ;)

4th rams colt to play As this year.

The future is looking bright at the rams!

What was the score against Callington today BF? Is it true that the Eagles scored 7 goals and went down by only 17?? Apologies if I've got it wrong but if true, must be a bit of a worry

Now that the rams are an extended suburb of mt barker if they didnt have players and sponsorship dollars at your finger tips would be a worrying sign. the juniors should be wiping the country clubs with popultaions of 200 like kangarilla, meadows etc aside every week with the kids you have floating around in your area but sadly they havnt.

pitty the RAMS havnt been able to generate their geographically positioned silver spoon into higher 'A' grade success either. dissapointing for all involved at the club, however im sure the gravy train should have a flow on affect at some stage so i guess its just a matter of biting your time big fella as big things will happen at the rams eventually and sadly only by default.

Went to watch Gum and Kangarilla today, was reasonable footy with gum getting the chocolates by about 15 goals. How can Gum belt mid to low teams by so much but when it comes to top Teams eg Echunga, Kersbrook and Birdwood they get belted. I think personally they have at team to match these top sides players like Q ,Graham, M. Ashby, Creek, I Belman And D, Johnston Do they have no Confidents and get beaten mentally against the top Teams?

Thanks Foxstar, have watched this league with great interest haven a few close mates playing in the league. The top 3 teams i have previously mentioned would match it against any other country team in the state INMO. Its a pity the other teams bring the league down to a very average league.

Another day, another injury - i think may have needed stitches in his chin. Played a full game in the B's and coming back into some fitness.

It is disappointing when ill informed and obvously out of touch posters like yourself are allowed to frequent such forums.

The FACTS:

#1 NB juniors are doing very well thankyou..U17s 2nd U15s 3rd U13s top.

#2 We are surrounded by 3 money clubs..mounts onkas and cally..we do not pay big dollars..in fact we lost money men to peake and riverton this season.

#3 NB and the Nairne clubs have invested big $ in facilities in the last 5 yrs..new netball courts and clubrooms, new lights, new cricket nets, new clubroom surrounds, changeroom update, kitchen upgrade, new carpark..thanks to some very generous donors and many hardworking volunteers.

Pretty good side there Kick'n. No room for Bingos?? I would have him in before Danielle in a heart beat - especially after watching him yesterday. He's a lot slower and heavier than when he was at Birdwood and Kangarilla and his work rate was poor yesterday.

I also wouldn't have Krieg on the ball either. I reckon Adam Waller from Meadows would slot nicely in there - thought he was pretty good against us. Or maybe Jack Beverlander. I haven't seen that Wade play but I reckon big Jock would be handy as a 2nd ruckman and then to go forward. I don't rate Ashby or Graham - both front-runners that are good against the poor sides but go missing against the top sides.

Hats off to you, BF. It is a bold move to 'buck the trend' these days and not pay big money to compete. I really hope it pays dividends and you reap the rewards you deserve.
I know there are clubs out there that train in the 'dark' but find 1000's of $$$ to give to imports. It is the status quo in country footy today unfortunately.

I note that C.Morris made the team and not Mish? 'The Cougar' thinks that he is rubbish and Mish is a gun. Good to see that there is at least one poster on Scott St with some sense.

Yes i agree your juniors have been doing well for years however this never seems to have a flow on affect for your A Grade.
Also having the luxury of being a suburb of Mt Barker you also back up my comments you have been able to attract some sponsors to help with your so called state of the art facilities, glad to see your not pissing it up against the wall on fly by night players that is a credit to your club, in regards to your facitlities though i must admit i only ever have frequented your visitors change rooms and lets be honest they arnt much chop.
