Hows Hills Country div going to cope with the possible losses of Kangarilla to SFL Div 2 and the demise of Callington?

Pfft. Who cares if Kangarilla goes. Just been a blight on the comp since they arrived

A blight on the comp? How so?

Obviously struggling in the senior grades now but were very strong when first entered, played in 2 A grade grand finals, 2 B grade Grand finals, and have had very good success with their junior players currently.

Sounds like sour grapes to me

Most football leagues are religiously using the sporting pulse system online for results...

http://www.sportingpulse.com/comp_info. ... 4-0&pool=1

that is a link to the round just played... At the time I've linked it, there is only one game on there.

Now either the League person has just done one game and stopped, or the other clubs have not got the required info back to your league.

Send a rocket up your league The Poacher, and then you might get some results.

Thanks M.P & 200 K.B. I already use this link and that is why I am so annoyed, as for the Hills [country] league I had the opportunity to actually ring the president of the league re: abuse towards an umpire, [long story and I havent got time to enlighten] needless to say he seem to be a decent bloke on the phone, all things considered. Needless to say when I was introduced to him a few weeks later [and the penny dropped] he couldnt say less to me, or get away from me any quicker than he did, and no I was not abusive towards him on either occasion, but I was frank and told him what I would do if one of his sub contractors [umpire [paid employee]] ever allowed 17 year olds playing under permit in under 15's comp [yes it happened x5] hurt my son by pushing them into the fence [which happenned] after ball was disposed off. This occurred 4x in 1 qtr. I find being honest with people seems to be a bit off putting, maybe thats just me.

It will only be ignored until someone sues someone and wins. Then and only then will umpires be held responsible for their performances. Football can be played without umpires, [rule can be changed] umpires cant umpire without footballers. I have never heard people say they went to the umpiring and the football spoilt it for them as an experience.

The same problem is happening in the U/13's as well. Overaged players playing and some of the bigger kids from 1 team are flexing their muscles on the smaller kids. It has been taken to HFL meetings but they have put their heads in the sand (too hard basker). Nothing will get done until a lad gets hurt. Too late then. I thought permits are for disabled lads not overaged ones.

Notice no comment on Echunga's 99 point win over Kersbrook on here..........Did Kersbrook have injuries or was there another reason?????

What he said

I didn't look at the fixture, youngpace had Echunga listed first in his tips which usually means homeside. It wouldn't matter anyway, Kersbrook could play them on the moon and still wouldn't beat them. Bogey side.

I don't think anybody expected 15 goals though, way to bounce back to form Demons. The Brooks would not have had a loss like like that since the '06 GF??

Kersbrook had no Carslake, Bingos and Lees but echunga were deffinately better saturday by a mile and i can tell you the kersbrook effort was not taken lightly by the team and was not acceptable!

A few good players missing there for kersbrook, very surprising result sat. At this stage of proceedings Echunga and Birdwood are the teams to beat stating the bloody obvious

A Kangarilla supporter decided that the win wasn't enough and felt he had to say a certain comment after the siren towards Macclesfield player Luke Butler who is of Asian heritage. He's lucky that he didn't say it at a higher level as I doubt he'd be going to the football for awhile. Said spectator complained at copping 'cheap shots' from Maccy players/supporters but he should be thankful that Luke was restrained by Maccy teamates and couldn't get at him himself.

On a brighter note, Kangarilla did play a good brand of football and certainly wanted it more after Maccy had got a 5 goal deficit back to 1 in the last quarter but Kangarilla weathered the charge and recorded a good victory.

Does appear that once promising players at Maccy don't seem to interested at the moment and in some cases are above their ideal weight.

Pretty disappointing to hear that, hopefully the person involved has been reprimanded by the club

Hey wheres the footy talk? Who will win this week and why?
I'll be back in SA next Saturday to watch my first game in almost two years and need to know how everyone is going.
Should be a great game Echunga vs Birdwood. But first the Roosters will have be get over Kangarilla.
