The only player in that list who has played more B grade than A's is Pud, so you're a fair way off the mark.

even Pud played a good amount of A grade games early on.
Rusty 50/50 - B grade and A grade.
Lachy, Jum & Chris Moerman would be almost all A grade.

Barrett could not be classed as playing almost all A grade he has spent a fair bit of time in the Ressies over the years.

I reckon you're under estimating the mighty L.Barrett!! :D His split is 128/61 A grade to B grade.
To me, that's an A grader.

He won't be happy with you when he reads this!

dont underestimate the mighty L.Barrett!! most famous for his dashes off the half back flank, and his two handed kicking style!

Kersy over Gum by 7-8 goal. The final margin flattered the Brookers a little bit but they just had a bit too much polish for us today. Interesting side note, Matt Slade had a run in the b's !!!!

Another interesting side note but no surprise.
Last week against the Callington Q. Graham best player M. Ashby 9 goals
Did they play yesterday ?
On a good note for Gum it's a good sign that locals were predominant in
the best players and goal kickers

Ashby kicked a couple points i think and got dragged in the last quarter atleast he certainly didnt need a shower sat night.
Graham picked up a lot of touches but once again apart from his one goal none were damaging these guys chip sideways in their defensive 50 all day long its funny to watch great game plan gum! I suppose after the game they brag about getting 30 odd touches.

I heard Quino played well and should have been in Gums top 3 best, Heard ashby was quiet.

Wasn't at Maccy V Meadows game on Saturday but it would appear that the future is starting to look extremely bleak at Maccy.

With the likely loss of 5 to 6 key players at the end of the season, and the lack of juniors it doesn't look good.
Don't blame people at club though as I know they work their guts out and I've been saying for the last 10 years that Macclesfield as a town should be called 'Clarendon Mark II' as it is a far different place to what it was even 15 years ago and I can guarantee if we had to rely on local content, we'd be lucky to fill a C grade side. Would be fair to say that 85% of the community has nothing to do with the town at any level, let alone the football club.
I know some people will say 'that's what you get for going the paid players road' but everyone else was doing it so we didn't have much choice if we wanted to be competitive and if we wanted to fill 2 sides full stop.
On a slightly different note, some players there have been blaming the coach in regards to their own form and how they fit into the side since 2007 - well there's been 4 coaches in that time and they can't all be wrong.

Cally v Maccy should be a cracker now that cally has improved and Maccy are on the down slope.

They must be struggling if he's playing up forward. No wonder Birdwood give all their money to McGahey. Mick Ashby kicks 4 goals in his sleep up forward for Gum and look at all the previous rubbishing of the great man.

Round 17, 6th August. With it being at Callington too, you'd certainly give them a bit of hope

yeah fair comment cause we don't have any players in the goal kickers list or the best percentage in the league by a ways... It's called flexibility champ, I don't think 4 goals in a half is all that bad personally...

Only the great SJ could get them out of this.
Talking about great coaches, could Mitchell be a smokey for coach of the year.

Heard a rumor that Mitchell was reported for threating to kill the umpires last weekend? Not sure if he was reported as a player or the coach? Can you win coach of the year if you get reported as one?
