Don't blame people at club though as I know they work their guts out and I've been saying for the last 10 years that Macclesfield as a town should be called 'Clarendon Mark II' as it is a far different place to what it was even 15 years ago and I can guarantee if we had to rely on local content, we'd be lucky to fill a C grade side. Would be fair to say that 85% of the community has doing to do with the town at any level, let alone the football club.
I know some people will say 'that's what you get for going the paid players road' but everyone else was doing it so we didn't have much choice if we wanted to be competitive and if we wanted to fill 2 sides full stop.
On a slightly different note, some players there have been blaming the coach in regards to their own form and how they fit into the side since 2007 - well there's been 4 coaches in that time and they can't all be wrong.
Who are the 5 or 6 that are likley to leave?
Only the great SJ could get them out of this.
Talking about great coaches, could Mitchell be a smokey for coach of the year.
That would be a bigger disgrace than Thomo winning it the other year
