Is this the same bloke that got a local contractor to build his hand railing and then refused to pay him? #-o L-)

Only because the contractor charged a shite load more than was quoted. The old fella didn't get rich from letting anyone pull the wool over his eyes to earn a cheap buck.

I red the story and there was no quote. The only quote was after the whole event was complete from a boat builder (who had previously done work for Stehr, and wanted more) who came in at half the price but obviously he didn't see all the dificulties that arose when doing the job.

Lol, you "red the story". Fair enough, journalists don't try to make anyone look bad to sell papers

I got told you rude cricketers parked on our baseball diamond the last couple of nights for cricket. You have parking all round the oval and you all choose to come park on the grass and ruin our field. Use your brain.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Excuse me while I wind back 7 days. There are two grades of Henderson shield and our younger generation should be encouraged to excel. To play at the highest standard should be Harry fords goal, the lad could go far. In a league dominated by the elder statesman, especially in the runs per week, it would be a pleasure to see a port Lincoln product succeed elsewhere after doing their apprenticeship here . Apart from Gary, our success rate as a spawning ground for cricketers is pitiful. On the other hand, wop, Lindsay, bubbles, graham, Corey, son of crowbar and even buzz would've all been pretty good cricketers. Go well Harry, blaze, Horgs jnr etc etc Lincoln cricket needs you
