To play at the highest standard should be Harry fords goal, the lad could go far. In a league dominated by the elder statesman, especially in the runs per week, it would be a pleasure to see a port Lincoln product succeed elsewhere after doing their apprenticeship here . Apart from Gary, our success rate as a spawning ground for cricketers is pitiful. On the other hand, wop, Lindsay, bubbles, graham, Corey, son of crowbar and even buzz would've all been pretty good cricketers. Go well Harry, blaze, Horgs jnr etc etc Lincoln cricket needs you

Gary who?

Gary McGuire would b my guess

Never heard of him? Local?

Who is he and what is his claim to fame?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I think some muppet from Bostons put a huge halt on it with their comments to the PLCA recently, but there's a few of us who are keen to make it happen.. :D

Do you reckon there's enough cricketers about to fill an A Grade, B Grade and Colts side?

I can't see how a town of this size could sustain 7 cricket sides, especially when the standard now is probably as weak as it's ever been :? :?

No, the standard was at it's weakest when Scooby retired, or was that just Waybacks were at their weakest.... ;)

Keep fishing Panther.......
Your lovely swinging haggots ruined my confidence so I only played a couple of games the next year...... Not sure that means retired....

On a serious note I agree with Ben, the comp surely couldn't cover 7 teams.... unless you make a comeback Panther... then I could be headed for retirement...
