Would pull big dollars on the open market if any club needs a good ruckman/utility player

Overrated! If he was that good why not go try and play in the Hills Central or in the top Divs of the SAAFL where he'd also get really good coin rather than continually slutting himself out in the lower divs of amateur league to the highest bidder?

Bit lazy on the training front, pretty happy to do what he has to do and enjoy his footy, each to their own, it's not his fault clubs wanna chuck money at him.

I would say overrated too he would be lucky to be in the top 5 ruckmen in hills country with guys like Nicholson, Cranna, Mckley and Wade much better players

was team of the year ruckman in div 6 in 2009 when at the lodge. best ruckman in the comp that year. in saying that, hills country is a different kettle of fish standard wise (the top teams anyway) but you would assume if he goes to CUFC that he would be very important to them.

What a joke.
If you’re looking at the ruckmen in the Country Div, here’s a good representation of where they sit.
1. Nicolson (Kersbrook)
2. Sorry don’t know his name, but from Nairne.
3. Heinze (Kangarilla)
4. Cranna (Echunga)
5. Wade (Meadows)
6. Again not sure of the name, but Birdwood’s.
7. The guy with dreds from Macclesfield/Bellman

Agree there, top three funnily enough play for the current top three clubs. Cranna Mclay Nicolson are the top three for sure

by the length of the straight...
I reckon Nicolson is the best with Cranna and Mclay being pretty even. Cranna seems to lose it sometimes which lets him down.

Have to agree, Nicholson best followed by McLeay and Cranna then just behind them Wade. Wade plays a lot more as a forward than the others but as a tap ruckman Nicholson is exceptional.
