We took on Jervois... 6 quarters (i know it's not quarters), first 3 pretty even, i think birdwood by maybe a goal or 2, second 3 we would have won pretty comfortably.
Good solid hit out... obviously just a trial with players missing/trying things and so on.

Looking forward to the family day this Sunday at the Velodrome. Internal trial and lots of kids around. Should be a great day.
Any colts wanting to come we'll pay for a personalised helicopter to come and pick you up.

Let's be honest though gents.

Callington have two choices either fold and potentially play C'grade or field two FULL teams.
They've been refused additional points so logically to avoid folding etc they need to find as many 0 point players as possible, if I were that desperate I'd be doing simliar - I'd probably be looking for kids but, offering half the money and the opportunity to play senior football - this you could build on.

More power to Callington but unfortuantley they're just pissing money up against the wall and will be in the same position next year just poorer for it.

Rumour has it that the lack of brains trust in the HFL decided it'd be a good idea to have the bottom two sides play the top two sides in round one....? Seeing as there's been a 50 goal difference between these clubs its not doing anyone any favours!

If true I applaud the HFL for allowing all clubs to pay the same fees while only half are administrated appropriately, money for jam right there.
