robby, is that in relation to Myponga (NOT Mypolonga)? If so, you would need to post that on the Great Southern thread..

Looks like being a really good year in the RMFL.

I noticed Mypo had a clearance in for someone by the name of Jarrad Schar from the Amateurs. I did a search, seems he's a goalkicker.

I posted last year I thought Mypo would take over from Mannum as the most competitive club for next 4 or 5 years outside the 2 MB teams, and with their INS for 2012 season, it would appear they have the depth now to be a very strong chance for top 3 position this coming season.

May be a bit early but anyone dare to have a crack and predict how the season will finish up? Imps clear favorites but after that the ladder could end up in any order.

Too hard to pick a serious ladder with second to fifth tight. But I'd say, judging on what we've seen Meningie and Mannum will be the ones to miss out.

Cheers Bazza, be sure to let me know when games start, ok? That’s why I said couldn't pick a serious ladder this early. I meant what we’ve seen with player movements; the ins and outs. Just took on the challange and had a crack of doing a ladder; every team will have their moments this year.

8) Just playing. Takes a brave man this time of year as you said. But have to agree Mannum and Meningie are the two teams with biggest changes and therefore are the biggest unknowns.

Jervois second moleman, you know something we don't know?

My guess would be
Imps
Tailem
Ramblers
Jervois
Mypo
Mannum
Meninge

Tailem have held together last years squad and if Micky summner hits form and they pick up 2 more recruits and cheek they will be very dangerous. Definitely should be entertaining footy to watch

Yeah I've based my ladder on player depth mainly. Tailem are definite top 5, possibly top 3 contenders, however an injury to Wark or Bowen would de-rail their season. Also Newchurch has put in a clearance to the Riverland Independent, so that would be one less big man they would have.

Mypo will probably have the best depth outside Imps, thats why I have tipped the Tigers for a grand final berth.

Jervois I think will be right up there because I reckon Coulter will perhaps return and they are likely to recruit mid season as they have done in the past.

Mannum will probably drop, as will Ramblers, but both likely to maintain top 5 positions due to their 6 or 7 real quality players.

Jervois were good last year and Younie is a gun. Coulter will be missed though. And with Mannum and Ramblers to fall away a bit, its logical they'll be up there. They also have a few more new faces and I just think they'll be tough. But like i said, second to fifth will be tight, really tight. Jervois, Tailem, Ramblers and Mypo will all be pretty even.

I don't rule out Mannum and Meningie and have them to miss out purely because the number and quality of their outs. They both have champion players on their lists but both will lack depth. The ins are fantastic but depth is curial when it is so tight.

Personally I see Jervois where they were last year, pending any new recruits mid year. Younie is unlikely to have the effect Coulter did as he was in the best 5 players in the competition IMO. Imps don't rely on their bigger names as much as the other teams and Mypo may be moving to that status also. Take Wark and Bowen out of Tailem; Ladhams, White and Younie out Jervois; Motlop, Brunoli and Ware out Meningie; Hall, O'Malley and Mueller out of Mannum and those teams aren't anywhere near as threatening.

This is quite possible your best post ever Bazza! If Jervois had their team 4 years ago, would be favouites, but time has caught up with olot of their side IMO.
Dont write off Ramblers either. A couple of very big In's if things go according to plans.

Will be very fit after a league pre-season. Why someone would want to go through all that pain 5 times a week, only to go play on a cow paddock when the real stuff starts is far beyond me!

Jervois have picked up a very good young player in Jordan Richards.(I think he is an ex Kingston junior)...Tim Richards tried pretty hard to get him to come back to Kingston but he lives down in town now
and didn`t want to travel that far.
