I saw the incident. I thought the "dog act" was carried out by the player in his behaviour towards the umpire. Is this behavior being condoned by partisan views after stepping down from the "moral high ground" of three weeks ago.?

Obviously concerned them enough to read the riot act to the player after the game. I believe the message was that he was treading a fine line and that he needed lift his game. This came from the 4th person in the umpires room at the time.
As a Wayback LM (or WLM as we like to call them) I don't necessarily agree with the action we have taken, but neither did I agree with the actions of the player concerned.

As for calling it a dog act...KWF you are better than that!

I wasn't happy with the incident either , however i would be disgusted if my club behaved like the WFC today. We prefer to do our talkiing on the field. This is a weak action from a weak club.

No ken,

your club won that award hands down when we all agreed at an official meeting that we (PLFL and all 6 clubs) would wait on the ravendale proposal. I have it written in the minutes. One club went behind everyones back didnt they? That wont be forgotten

waybacks have every right to lodge a complaint that brings the game into disrepute and now it will be thoroughly investigated tomorrow.

Now let's get this right... Not happy when a player gets sent of for striking and then proceeds to disrespect the official by knocking the card from his hand but disgusted that a club should complain about it...mmmmm interesting
As for your last statement, you are either new to the club or have a short memory

BTB you forgot the word "allegedly"
If Semmler had made deliberate contact with an umpire as your club has reported him for
then dont you think the umpire would have red carded him and reported him.
As for a dog act BTB I honestly thought that you guys were better than that.
You won the game fair and square.
now it seems you want to make sure that our participation in the final series is curtailed
by means other than on the field fighting for the pill.
Your Club has a proud and long history of Success on and off the field......
not anymore it seems.

Lets get one thing straight here.

Any club has the right to bring an incident 'on the field or off it' to our attention. And we have the right to investigate it. End of story.
If we find that the situation has been dealt with we will leave it at that (this will probably be the case here) but if we find this individual has brought the ganme into disrepute then he will face the tribunal tomorrow night.

Question: If this was a lesser player being investigated kwf one wonders if there would still be all this arm flapping coming from your club?
