How could Echunga possibly have 6 points remaining to fit them in.

Craig Hutchinson with the scoop. Care to name the six?

The Love twins?

Off to Echunga like expected pre-season!

Wrong, I understand this forum is not 100% factual but dont post rumor, if you bothered looking into Echunga you'd realise they are full points wise and neither Ray or Owen were juniors there. Stupid post

Not sure who is leaving, but if it is the loves, there goes 80+ goals for Tailem, unless they can find good replacements at this late stage. Really bad news if true, & would be tough to swallow. Must have been something major for this to happen I would have thought!
Is 10 players the figure or is this just a guess?

Loves played juniors at Salisbury West & Salisbury, then stints at Kilburn & Encounter Bay.

The real problem here sounds like a clash of personalities which has affected the playing group to which point Id hate to be the tailem coaching staff who are looking for new roles next season and trying to explain that one... Not many clubs like inheriting others fall outs.

If we all take a deep breath Id imagine the Loves have to either stay at Tailem or sit the season out because they're 'contracted' and no one has the points other than callington...?

All a huge pitty for all involved, this is not the AFL but theres still scandal scandal scandal.

I think good on tailem bend for sticking by there coach,if your assistant coach is gunna quit just because he didn't give his brother an A-Grade game,Well i'd be saying see-ya later too,and making the other blokes leave too shows a bit about his character as well.
I'd wait to see who shows up thursday before panicing, although i just heard Owen Love trained and sighned with jervios last night!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was Tailem Bend there is no way I would let them play for a rival RMFL club. If they don't want to be there for whatever the reason, fair enough, it is country football and they should be allowed a clearance. However, a move to Jervois is unacceptable.

All really depends on how the departure went. If Tailem told the boys they were no longer required for not meeting certain team/club rules then id say they could go wherever they wish. If on the other hand the players walked out on the club through not being happy then yeah i wouldnt be clearing them as they are contracted players and especially to a rival team in the same league. Id imagine they will be cleared.

A terrible shame for Tailem as they looked competitive with the players mentioned and finding ready made replacements at this time of the year will be difficult.
