Correct. Probably shows that some of the Meningie recruits are starting to gel a little more.

Watched my 1st RMFL game yesty
Harvey went missing. First time he come up against quality opposition, expect to see more of that.

Hall on the other hand gets the job done when it matters, too many high priced passengers yesterday he cant carry them all.

Anyone know what Motlops like as a coach?

Meningie are 0-3. Reports are Motlop lets his assistant do all the talking at the huddles. His assistant also did presentations when we were there. Its a strange set up.

And he wants to coach one day in the AFL.
I heard he's getting payed huge $$$$$ out there to not talk?

Its a strange set up obviously.
Any other coaching jobs like that in the League as i,m interested! ;)

How many more funds needed to upgrade a minibus.
At this stage Moore appears to be Chief Commander at the Bears.
Are you likely to be an impact coach No Mercy? :D

Ha ha, Mercy couldn't coach a stick up his arse without the great man Hosie behind him. Heard the hose is the mastermind behind all his coaching moves.

I didn’t make the game yesterday, was at a navy seal reunion for the capture of bin laden with my good mate Jim Hales.
Daisy, you still haven’t seen a game of RMFL footy. You haven't left the couch since foxtel got installed last year and now moved to critiquing the game from the Sunday Mail.
Although you didn't make the game, your guess on the great man Hally is spot on. He would have received another 4 votes from the men in white yesterday.

Reports are he had only a light session last night and was seen limping around the club, to try and throw all the attention on Hall and Pech..

Apparently he was spending money like a man with no arms and may have done just that Hazel.

Hahah huge call from the shrek, let's be honest stats in ameature footy are wavering and unless the team you're charting is very well drilled with great structure the stats really only tell you who the go to players are. Someone still has to coach and while game day stats are helpful they're not the difference at this level, the players are and well... stats dont coach players...

Buckleys chance of that.... Normally to get votes you have to do more than just run around the back of guys with frees calling for handballs.... Has very good skills, but didn't get his own footy on Saturday too often....

Imps big players really stood up on Saturday - Harrowfield, Wait, Girdham, Smith were all high in Imps best... Smith has been sensational the last two weeks....

Heard that Motlop complained to the umpires as they were walking off - didn't hear anything of a report - but he has complained about the umpiring EVERY week...

And yep, never seen umpires arguing amongst themselves as much as those 3 did at Mannum on Saturday.... quite funny to watch actually.... Pity the umpires don't just worry about umpiring the game rather than trying to grandstand and big note themselves! Sometimes they spend more time worrying about the petty stuff that no one else would pick up on anyway rather than concentrating on the basic stuff...

Think you'll find the final margin was closer to 8 goals.... Apart from a lapse by Imps in the third quarter could've been much much more.... Have to agree somewhat about the umpiring.... I'm sure they'd be the first ones to admit it wasn't their best display....

Oh Willy, you clearly are as one eyed as your name suggests. One could easily state that had it not been for Mannum kicking 4 behinds (easily gettable) and their lapse in the 4th quarter it would have been much closer.

Couldn't see his name on the team list. Was he a non playing coach this week. Whats the point of complaining to the umpires after the game. Zip. They can't change their decisions, and if anything, they put it in the memory bank next time they umpire that team. Seen it happen before.
Before arguing with umpires about a bad decision, maybe he should ask himself how many times he made a mistake through the game.

Im not sure how you can say i wasnt there considering you wernt at the game Dukey.
I can assure you i was there and was quite impressed with the standard and the openess of the game, this feature exposed Harveys lack of pace.

What about Mannum's "lapse" in the second quarter when Imps kicked 5 goals to 1..... How the scoreboard saw it too... Mannum kicked as many goals during Imps third quarter lapse as they did in the other 3 quarters combined....

1. Mannum - League 2 2 14 3 3 21 7 7 49 8 8 56
1. Imperials - League 2 2 14 7 3 45 8 3 51 15 3 93

The old adage of 'having tickets on yourself' was in full flight at the player auction. It has been alleged that 'Diddles' purchased himself for what he believes is a 'bargain', despite being the highest priced player of the evening.

It was also great to see all the new players bonding during the evening. Although young Sam Tonkes spent more time with the U'17 netballers than with the team.

Wouldn't have been the first coach to complain to an umpire in a close game and i can nearly guarantee you he wont be the last either.

Whilst i agree you dont get anywhere arguing with the umpires tensions were obviously high after a thrilling match.

Coaches who complain to umpires do three things1) make their players look stupid 2) themselves look even worse 3) are in the umpires minds for being whining muppets for next time they meet.
Besides I thought only the captains could approach umpires. Bears are an overpaid basket case which will sadly see a few blokes regretting their decision while others will look for scapegoats and at the end of the day the poor bloody club will be no better off. They've not received higher gate takings, have not won a game and the buzz has almost fizzled out. Only question now is, will they sack players when finals are out of reach so they can blood locals, juniors and save some cash for their next crop of recruits and 2013 coach? Even if signed for two years Motlop will be snapped up by an afl club surely?
