Is Quinten going around again at Gumeracha or did his urine guzzling antics spell the end of his coaching tenure?

It seems he was rewarded for these antics with a bigger budget.

Have you seen Levy lately? Didn't play at all last year and has been in a good paddock.

The article in the Courier today re the Callington/Bridgewater merger was easily the biggest load of tripe I have ever read in terms of subject matter. Bridgewater 99 goals, Callington 1. The Eagles have let the baby out with the bath-water big time, how ridiculous. As a previous poster mentioned, they will be swallowed whole by the end of next year. Funny how the club was sacrificed without the knowledge of those who began it.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

From the Cally people i have spoken to they seem to think their going to swallow Bridgy up,they say, we have the best oval in the comp,we're not going anywhere, surely Bridgy or the council could get their oval up to scratch, drainage, the creek,etc..,seems they only want a merger to get a better oval to play on,the facilities, oval etc arent going to get any better unless somethings done, seems people are sitting on their hands.

The Bridgy oval has been like that since the early 70's. Possibly earlier. There have been tunnels put in the freeway since that to ease the traffic. A couple of those big pipes might have helped with the drainage at the oval, instead of fishing nets to get the balls out of the creek when a goal is scored.

You got no hope. Will definitely be at HDFC.

Well that is good news for HD especially after losing the Davis boys, Cam is a good lad and considering he has only played a couple of seasons in his life, I look forward to seeing him develop into a better player in the coming years! Going to be a lot more pressure on him next year though, more responsibility and no doubt more attention from opposition.

He takes it all in his stride. Will be less pressure on him next year if he is to be sharing the ruck duties with a new recruit from Hills Country

Soo. Who's lost Ruckman to Houghten Districts?
