Smoky for the medal. Sutherland as he has been getting heaps of the ball and never puts himself in the best. Excel as he is a real standout in a struggling team. Or Stansborough from Hahndorf who is another loan standout.

Wood and Trigger will take votes off each other. Burch is a crowd favourite.

I realise that most of the posters on here now are into the Central Division but will anyone else be heading out to the Sunday match at Meadows between Meadows and Echunga?
Must have been a high standard game last Saturday between Meadows and Kangarilla with Meadows triumphing by 22 points.
Good article by Jeff Pistola in the Courier regarding Birdwood and a possible attempt to go to the Central Division. A lover of the football club must have won Cross lotto or something as the money is going to have to be plentiful to even be competitive for reasons that have already been discussed on this topic.

A mate of mine who plays at macclesfield got invited out during the week to train with South. He has been named in the reserves. Tony lynch is his name. He has been maccys ruckman this year and by all reports will win their best & fairest by a dozen furlongs!!! Keep an eye out for his name everyone as he goes very , very well. Only took up footy a few years ago, won a best & fairest in his first year. Good luck to him!!!!

Is it confirmed Birdwood are coming up to central next year???

Played poker at the casino a few weeks ago with a couple of lads from Hanhndorf on the table. If they play footy the same way they play poker, no wonder they are struggling this year :D

Would love to tip...but only game I know of is Lofty to beat Lobey, in a good one. I'm saying only 6 goals (close for a Lofty game).

Can anyone savvy me up on the other games??

I think he is the same player who had to look up where the club was in his UBD as he was selected earlier in the season but had not attended any practice sessions. I would have thought you would know this, don't you play there ?

Ball Magnet, you bemused I find that hard to believe.

thunder down under, u seem to know a lot of what is going on at ironbank? are the latest rumours ive heard of Dennis Russell coming back to Ironbank next year as coach on the privso that Shane Russell comes along for the ride correct?

Also, I think there is more to what ive read about the young players leaving then first imagined. But Kangarilla? Im not exactly sure where this came from... maybe a past of one of the younger players? But ive heard other clubs are higher on the list then kangarilla..

I must have missed the comment made by the indian, none the less a tad harsh.. maybe a set of earplugs could come in handy on games against lobethal then footballer? also, how does his mother being annoying in a match make him a loser? anyway.. lets let that go, and focus on football then footballer? no hard feelings. :)

Don't worry about rumours, I'll give you the facts now, they ain't coming !!!!

You are way off the mark also with Kangarilla. Anyway my mail (and it's from a good source) is that they are not going anywhere which refutes all the talk.

Winger I saw the IB A grade side in the Butchers window and there were two players who were not able to make the B Grade side last week, but straight into the A Grade this week. Please explain ??

the facts. maybe my sources are incorrect? so Thunder, you seem to be the mythbuster. Dennis Russell coaching at Reynella next year? would this be the reasoning for not returning to Ironbank next season.. and If he "were" to coach, this could attract some Ironbank players wouldn't you say? not necessarily only the younger generation players. just some food for thought.

also, as Winger has stated.. you seem to be very up to date with the on goings of Ironbank, any other changes u can point out for us outsiders?

Sorry PF nothing coming out of the Thunder camp that is of interest this week.

I will digest your comments re DR. There was no doubt he was well liked by the youngsters (and a few of the oldies) at the club but my mail is that he has put the cue in the rack re coaching which would bust another myth.

Also think it a little early to be making coaching calls for 2007 at the minute.

well, it would appear that you have busted all my rumours thus far, ever thought of going on mythbusters?
As for the call for 2007 coaching, its never to early to get the feelers out, would you not agree?
