Any predictions for the coming season?
The Clare teams seem to have a few clearances through, not sure on the quality.
BBH have quite a few gone back to the SAAFL, and no ins, will they drop away?
BSR have Fitzgerald, how many more of his quality do they need to compete?
Other teams largely unchanged at this stage?

I hate to say it, but BBH will struggle to win a game unless some clearances start coming through of recruits - any news on whos coaching the rams this year??

Mark Seelander is the coach, Schelly is fit, that will be enough to get a win or two.

Will the mighty hawks ever regain the services of mensforth or did I hear right that he may never play footy again? Tough break for a good lad if true.

Mensforth very much done with football. I heard Lucky if he will be able to run probably again. Very unfortunate for him and the hawks. Great lad, good club, very good player.

Heard the hawks have lost a lot from last year.

RSMU played Kapunda on the weekend past and got a bit of a touch up. I think it was about 7 or 8 goals the difference at the finish. Lots of skinny lads in the Hawks' side that seemed like they were a couple of years away from being fully competitive in senior footy. The big ruckman (#23) is a mountain, but really unco-ordinated. Don't know anything about him, but seems he'll be a work in progress?

That big ruckman has been team of year in the north easternpreviously, and an A grade ruckman for 10 years, at Nuri, now Riverton for the past 7/8 years. Just got a bit of a touch up Saturday.

Big Brocky came up against the guy who taught him to ruck that's why.

Who Brock or Turrell? Both not spring chickens, but I think they're pretty close friends.

Saw an interesting game today RSMU getting over Sth Clare by 2 pts.
They were never in the hunt until the last quarter, SC led 12-7 to 5-7 at 3/4 time. A scoreless last quarter left a bit of egg on the face of the SC coach who was talking about a percentage booster and imploring his guys to bury them at 3/4 time
