Interesting to see Wayne Weidemann getting around at the GF. Loves his footy.

How does South Clare go in this comp? Got a mate who may get the coaching gig, is he in for pain or a good club?

Lost the GF in 2020 on the back of a lot of strong Covid recruits from Balaklava. I believe this upset a lot of the locals who then went across to North Clare.

Only won 1 a grade game this year and didn’t win a b grade game though this year. Have a strong senior colts who finished third.

They have lots of good people at the club who want it to succeed so he will have good support around him.

Won’t lie though it is a tough gig and they are starting from pretty far behind. There is a bit to work with there but is maybe a 3 year project to blend some of their talented youth with the current good footballers and then selected recruits.

Eudunda/Robertstown local Aaron Nietschke has just been delisted by Melbourne.

Could we see him return to the Saints???

Has had two knee reconstructions in 3 years so may look to go back and just enjoy is football.

South Clare product Luke Dunstan has also not had his contract renewed. Could we see him in the red and blue....would be a massive get for South.

Aaron nietschke won't play footy in 2022. Ripping kid who has had an horrific run, hopefully gets to play again sometime.

Wouldn’t think he will be playing AFL either. In and out of a side that couldn’t make the finals. Hardly going to have teams lining up especially at 26 years old and been somewhat injury prone.

Its becoming increasingly more common for delisted AFL footballers to skip the SANFL on their way back down.

It is in a lot of club's constitutions that they have to advertise each year even if they are not planning to change coaches

If you believe rumours

He upset some of the players
One had just returned and another has coached Min- Man himself and didnt play in the semi final

So this may be the reason - or like stated it is in clubs constitutions to advertise

We will need to wait and see

Id say the first one, i reckon Gers would be too tough.
Im not 100% but i think Rusca is coming back to Angaston.

Really???

The bloke can play but is it a great culture building piece having someone who swaps back and forth every second year.
