BSR vs North Clare in the A Grade. North have historically given BSR some troubles. Despite the loss on the weekend just gone North can almost guarantee a finals spot with a win this week given they play South and Blyth in the last two rounds.

RSMU vs Southern Saints in the A Grade should be a belter. Two inform sides, can make a case here that the winner will take the all-important second spot double chance into the finals.

South Clare 4th vs 5th Blyth/Snowtown in the B Grade with a finals spot on the line. Going to be very interesting selection night at both clubs. The rest of the comp will watch with interest no doubt lol. B Grade game could be of a higher standard than the A Grade game.

Only Min Man- BBH looks to be a formality in both grades with the Min Man in the A Grade and BBH in the B Grade.[/quotes

Saints need a win this week they have a couple out that may not return agin which hurts their run

BSR look streets ahead it’s there premiership to lose

I wouldn't say streets ahead but yes as an undefeated side (at this stage) we go in as clear favourites.

Funny part is whether we finish top undefeated or scrape in the finals in fourth our hope/goals etc is to win the flag so nothing really changes whether we are top or fourth.

In a unique one

BSR played BBH twice this year in the a grade and on both occasions Burra failed to kick a goal in either game.

Well when you pick your b grade first against and leave the rest to play the top of the table A grade side then those scores could happen.

Burra's top 6 A graders are decent but drops away massively after that.

One round to go and a fair bit on the line in both grades.

A GRADE
Barring one the biggest upsets of the year the top 4 is sealed. North Clare look set to just miss out despite being the most improved side of the season. A couple of close loses has cost them a finals spot. The top 2 is a done deal.....so unless something incredible happens on the final day the first week of finals looks set to be.

BSR (1) vs Southern Saints (2)
RSMU (3) vs Min Man (4)

B GRADE
BSR have sown up top spot and we know South will make the finals for the first time in a fair while finishing in 4th. Where it gets interesting is Southern Saints in second and BBH in third are tied on points. The Saints take on the top of the table BSR whilst BBH will win comfortably against RSMU no doutb whatsoever. Could we see a last round change to the top 2.

BSR to good

They have a clear system and everyone plays their role

Saints too random just hoping to win based on ability , no clarity of method or predictability
This has been evident the last three year, big names but really brought nothing in the way of how to play as a team

Really just hoping they beat BSR once on grand final day if they get there

Lots of work goes into the playing system.

Obviously BSR will go in as favourites in both grades but we’ve all seen top sides knocked off in finals so nothing is guaranteed.

Good game in both grades yesterday.

A couple of huge preliminary finals to come this weekend.

A GRADE

Southern Saints vs Min Man

Can't help but feel this game being played at the huge Snowtown Oval favors Min Man in a big way who will probably have a bit more speed and spread. Southern Saints also seem to have a few wounded warriors so going to be interesting to see their team at the selection table.

I'm going to say Min Man by 3 goals.

B Grade

BBH vs South Clare

On a similar theme i think the team who lost last week BBH may struggle on the larger oval against a stacked South Clare side with a combination of youth and experience. Also similar to the A Grade BBH seem to have a few old warriors who are playing through minor injuries. Think this might be a bit of a one sided affair with South Clare winning by 6 goals and unusally both grades having sides go out in straight sets.

A GRADE
Saints need a win and need to win a GF, otherwise the money they’ve shelled out on a few blokes over the last three years has been a waste
A number of 26 plus lads, as well as the blokes who have been paid well for their services over this time likely to pull the pin and not too much talent in the juniors this could be there last chance to eve4 win one
Having said that MIN MAN are in there heads and have been for two years

B GRADE

two clubs that have blokes that would rather play B grade easy than struggle in A grade
South maybe

Out of curiosity and feel free to make no comment but how does Jack Mosey not get more of a gig in the A Grade.....seriously can play, right foot, left foot, good in the air, good at ground level, athletic.

And he trains as well, so its not that

Would rather keep picking blokes that have never consistently performed
This is also part of the dilemma the saints will face , the kids will drop off and do other things, and the others will leave with the money

In all honesty the saints have been searching for the silver bullet to change everything rather than plan for change and be aware of the numbers they have in the future

At B Grade level he reminds you of a Scott Pendlebury type who just seems to have so much more time than anyone else and always uses the ball immacutately.

Kind of feel like the step up to A Grade wouldn't be too big a step especially with the cleaner ball he would get.

The information from WARD STREET Eudunda is that BSR again videoed the game saturday
Two saints players were yellow carded and one BSR bloke
BSR presented the video to he association who subsequently suspended the two saints players
However
The video of the BSR player got ost in transit
POOR from BSR IF CORRECT
POOR from the association to suspend two on video but not the other

POOR by BSR who have form in this area already against the SAINTS

We 100% have videod the last 3 games and for good reason as per the punches to the back of the head our blokes have been receiving which was proven correct once again. Both the reportable offences were non-football acts, one a coward punch from behind and behind play that only by sheer luck didn't cause more damage (if that was in the SAAFL the bloke would have played his last game ever) This was not one of the yellow cards as the umpire did not see the incident because it was that far behind play.

The other report i believe was a straight elbow to the back of a head to a player lying face down and after the whistle had blown.

Can't comment on any lost video as i don't get sent the A Grade game footage. In saying that if BSR are paying for footage (not the league or Eudunda) then it's up to them how they use the footage right.

Correct me if I'm wrong as I missed parts of the game but i believe the BSR yellow was for a high spoil in the marking contest.

If i was still a player i would have no problem with the league suspending non-football acts caught on video.

Easiest way to avoid this situtation is to not belt blokes and then the footage becomes irrelevant.

Ps. we genuinely use the footage for football strategy purposes which is one of the reasons yourself has commented we as a club play with a very strong system versus say Eudunda who are more 'kick and hope' style of football.

Out of curiosity how long were the players suspended for.

A Grade
Alex Morgan BSR Winner
Billy Sandow Min- Man Runner Up

Some real odd voting on the night but that's how it always goes, was a good dinner and catch up.
