Also have heard that Min Man have been approaching a couple of players from one of the Clare teams trying to get them to move. Can't see the point in that given that they would never get cleared. So they must be struggling to get anyone if they are resorting to poaching like that!!!

Agree Blyth are going to be big contenders again but big job to keep everyone pumped up and enthusiastic for a third time around.

Also heard Peter Mann to bring some mates from adelaide to play at BBH this year. The BBH boys seem to be working hard on their fitness this year, and hopefully will be more of a competitive outfit this coming season.

Anyone want to have a stab at the table this year? I, for one, think North Clare could be the big improvers... lots of numbers on the track and a general good vibe out there from all reports...

Edgar, I think you are pretty on the mark North will be major improvers not just because of the blokes that they have picked up but Craig Jaeschke is apparently doing a great job and has lot of respect from the blokes there and around the league for that matter.
Blyth going to be hard to beat as will riverton. I think Minman will drop back a bit having lost a couple of major ones in Carter and possibly Miles. I think Burra eudunda and bsr maybe about the same as they have all had a few out goings and a couple in's. South possibly much the same again but with couple extra's.

No offence to Rhys but I think they probably have pretty easily with Josh Hollit (2007 Mail Medalist Adelaide Plains ) John Nicholas (2007 Mail medalist Northern Areas)

How is Rhys and Jack Arbon going to slot into Bostons this year

They will slot in well. Our depth was a bit lean last year so two more regular A graders will certainly help. Do they both go alright? Jack's a small forward type right?

Jack is a small forward who goes very hard at the ball... he will get you a couple of goals a game and create a couple...

Well in the ruck department we wont be as gd without spicer.. But we had a trial match on the weekend against Robertstown and won by over 30 goals our midfield seems alot stronger with the new players and also our forward line is looking gd.. I think i was the only player who couldnt run out a quarter due to being sick with glandular fever and only been to 2 trainings...

Apparently RSMU knocked off Freeling on the weekend... very ominous... did anyone watch this game?

Also, apparently RSMU are in the box seat to sign Cragg-Sappsford... can anyone shed some light on this?

Edgar Cragg Stapsford ended up getting cleared by South Gawler to Nuri. Good pick up for the tigers however from what I hear they are going to need more than 1 man to improve, got touched up in a trial game against Malalla.

Any one know of any results of trial games in this league on the weekend.

South Clare Played Jamestown and just went down. apparently they are battling for numbers.

North to play BSR on weekend at Spalding.

Thank you for the advice Rupert...no doubt everyone in the NEFL is breathing a sigh of relief that he didn't further strengthen RSMU...

Should be interesting to see how the BSR tigers go on the weekend against the new look North Clare outfit...
