Id say the first one, i reckon Gers would be too tough.
Im not 100% but i think Rusca is coming back to Angaston.

Really???

The bloke can play but is it a great culture building piece having someone who swaps back and forth every second year.

I agree, personally i wouldnt have him, goes missing in big games, cant handle a tag

I haven't noticed the missing in big game thing but just cant see for the life of me how it can be a good thing for the juniors to see one of the clubs 'star' players showing a level of disrespect for the club and leaving and returning so often. What standard does that set?

Can’t believe Luke Dunstan chose the reigning AFL premiers over the NEFL wooden spooners. Money hungry ;)

@Arrgablett

Will the Saints go down the path of a playing coach again, I know there is some salary cap benefits from going down that path.

Personally though I thought Schmidt as a playing coach was completely outcoached last finals series by two genuine coaches making game day moves etc. Not surprised in hindsight Saints went out in straight sets. The pressure for player coaches must be immense in finals.

I know there is examples of player coaches winning flags but give me a specialist coach any day of the week.

I'm not sure what's the go it may just be the yearly advertisement as prescribed in the constitution

I agree he was outcoached, He was injured in the preliminary and coached most of the game from the bench

The whisper is Chris will play and Nick will coach fulltime as a non playing coach

Watch this space
Whoever gets the job will have a lot of pressure to win, 2021 was meant to be the one, they had the players, GF at a new complex, they thought the silver bullet was going to fix everything

Saints still no coach
Last years coach may do it if no one else can be found but it’s not his first choice

Not sure that they will get all the recruits back, hoping they do, but often when one goes others follow

Getting closer.....what's the gossip around the traps.

Riverton and Blyth getting good numbers on the track by all reports.

South Clare have a fit Matty Allan back

North Clare have lost half a dozen and have signed a few that I'm not sold on.

Burra for once not talking a big game....

Clare Oval is out of commission for the entire 2022 season. North & South will play 6 of their 7 home games at Blyth Oval with the 7th at Snowtown and Brinkworth respectively.

Blyth-Snowtown will play home games against North & South at Blyth with the remaining 5 home games at Snowtown.
