Generally the last game of the round for the year has not meant a lot however there will be some interesting ones to watch come Saturday seeing as 3rd Spot is still up for grabs.
For Kersbrook to finish 3rd the Goal difference between the two games needs to be a minimum of 12 goals in favor of Kersbrook for them to take the 2nd chance away from Birdwood.
Example would be... Kersbrook would need to beat Gumeracha by 18 Goals and then be reliant on Birdwood only beating Maccy by 6 goals maximum to snatch the 3rd spot from them.

I would think these two sides will be chucking everything they can at these two games to make sure they secure the 3rd spot.

Nairne will start their finals campaign (Unless Meadows cause an upset this week) with a week off which should see them play a full strength team on Saturday as they would be looking to get as much match time into all before having the week off.

For the Medal - I would say McGahey or Hutt from Kersbrook as both should poll in the 18 to 21 mark depending on what the umpires look at and as McGahey's seems to have the umpires attention I would say he will be looked after and should take it out.

you would think it makes sense that if Nairne Finish top the ovals in line for first week of finals would be:
Nairne, Macclesfield & Gumeracha

How are all these ovals holding up this time of year out of the three I would expect Nairne & Maccy to be the top picks.

The club would like to thank Steve Gilling for his tireless efforts as our senior coach for the past two seasons and Robbie Allen for his services as reserves coach for the 2016 season.

We're already looking forward to 2017 as we look to grow and prosper as a club.

For any further inquiries, contact Mel Keetch on 0413 352 617.

Maybe just spreading the word farther that they are looking for a new coach?

Was interesting to see Roger James not kick a goal or get in the B grade BP's in a 20gl flogging over Gum on Saturday....

I wonder who coached Eudunda if Roger wasn't there.....

Doesn't mention any league or division on the advertisement which is unusual.

If you've followed the craziness of SAAFL lower divisions in past seasons, you'd know that at this time of year, the make up of next years divisions is never certain. Frustrating, but a reality. However we will be in SAAFL's Division 6 next year after finishing 7th.....we assume lol

Can you actually be counted if you are not physically at the ground?

Would be impossible to prove he wasn't at the ground if it was the case. Pretty much any excuse could be used such as he could have got 'injured' in the warm up and have had to leave the ground to go to get treated..

Apologies was looking at the A grade not the B grade...... well he is qualified now... doubt they will do anything about that....

Must have flew up to Eudunda ... to get the boys ready up there to have a win...

Could be the first person play and coach in 2 separate flags, in 2 separate teams, in 2 separate leagues.... in the same year!!!
