Maccy beat Kenilworth easily I heard
Aldinga just over kangarilla
Heard TV won a trial not sure who they played

Any other info?

Meadows were up on a combined trial against Mallee Storm before game called off due to compound fracture of one of the Storm players

Well ya better believe it oldman.... cleaned a lot of dead wood out at the den..... Culture has improved dramatically and better results will follow

Who ever your source was on this one my advice would be to not listen to them in the future….. Kenilworth haven’t played Macclesfield for about 12-13 years in a trial.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Any truth to a really serious incident at Gums last night with a Birdwood player needing to be airlifted to hospital? If correct wish the lag all the best.

A star country footballer is fighting for life after an on-field collision during an Hills Football League season opening game.

Birdwood Football Club utility Antonio Loiacono suffered critical injuries in the final quarter in the A-Grade match against Gumeracha in the Hills Football League on Saturday.

He was treated at the scene before speciality paramedics were called to the Gumeracha Oval and was flown to Royal Adelaide Hospital just before 8pm.

Loiacono previously for Waikerie in the Riverland Football League last season and also represented Norwood’s Under 18 side in 2019.

SA Heath confirmed the man remained in a critical condition Sunday evening.

The result of the match, which kicked off at 5.30pm, remains pending.

The SANFL released the following statement about the incident: “the league is offering the family and club all the support it can.”

Have heard that it was a fairly innocuous incident/tackle.
