Watched last night at Bennett. Westies looked good. Weeroona Bay were awful. Heard Norths beat Centrals today. Up in the Riverland at Loxton watching the nephew play. Good standard up here and a good day at the footy

Wouldn't mind Westbury back at Walkerville - 22 goals for Westies in his first 3 games

Westies easily today at Bennett in top of table game. Norths no longer unbeatable. Westies now flag favs. That's 2 wins this year for Westies over Norths. 4 goals 1st game of year. 7 goals today. Heard the score over at Memorial. Weeroona got smashed by Roos. Will be good game at Bennett tomorrow. Hopefully my Centrals can get up over Souths, but reckon the Dees will win. Freddy Freeman's getting good young side together at Dees.

Marshall went back to Whyalla at the start of the year and Westbury joined him (they both played at Walkerville) when he moved up there for work a few rounds into the season. Both really good guys. We pick up a few Whyalla lads when they move to the city for uni but then some get jobs back in Whyalla or the surrounding area and we only get to have them for a few years.

Can anyone clarify this Grand Final story. Roopena and North in the B grade big dance, scores finished level at full time. Then during the final period of extra time with North up by a point, a Roopena player had the footy inside his forward 50, and just before he kicked the ball, the siren sounded. The resulting kick dribbled through between the big sticks but the clock had beaten him by under a second.

Westies go back to back undefeated season, although they had a scare in the GF yesterday when they were 4 goals down at 3/4 time. Pretty amazing effort to go through 2 seasons without a loss

Great effort over past 2 years. Westies kicked the first 3 of the game and it seemed like it was going to be a walk in the park, Centrals then kicked the next 8 or 9 in a row and were all over them, felt like they should have gotten out to an even bigger lead than what they did. Westies flicked the switch in the last quarter when they had a nice breeze at their back. Winders clearly BOG.
