I believe that will depend on where Morris gets a teaching job.

If the rumours are correct they are chasing up a fair few players that have come in to town and also have talked to a couple from rival clubs.
Have heard that they have signed a young lad that was at North Adelaide this year.

Yep, James Vanhoof. Meant to be pretty handy.

Roopena have registered one confirmed loss with Guy Elliott going to Edwardstown.

One or two others are also likely to drop off but no word @ this stage on who they are.

Apparently Chris Beaty is returning to North Whyalla.

Yeah, but he chops and changes and carries on. If you knew him you'd know. It's probably not worth gossiping about, he'll change his mind again soon and go overseas.

Any word on Matt Quist that has been talked about previously ??
As its being said that Roo's will pick him up then it said North's are likely to get him.
Or hasnt this been solved yet and awaiting to see when he starts this teaching position??
Sounds a promising type.

Linked with Prokopec. Both teaching at Samaritan College no that's probably why Quist would be at the Maggies

Prokopec and at least 1 other teacher at Samaritan College play for North so you'd have to consider them the front runners for his services

Yeah, North are full of teachers. Alistair Thomas, Ben Hardy, Prokopec, there's three off the top of my head.

From what I've heard, there's been a bit of a rift through the club since the appointment of rival club Roopena life member Harry Marks to coach in 2008.

It divided them quite a bit, the Bays are a club who have had internal coaches for quite a while with limited success and were in need of fresh blood.

In saying that, they've always had exceptionally strong junior sides so the fact they haven't had much senior success of late baffles many.

Training numbers in 2007 were terrible, with six or seven A graders making it out to the track, and word is it wasn't much better in 08.

Arguably the club's best player Geoff Appleton had a falling out with the club's heirachy after they questioned his commitment to the team.

Appleton works some Saturday's and said he would play footy on those days if the club could give him half what he earns working on a Saturday.

Club refused, claiming Appleton wasn't even keen to play anyway.

Those words stung and I would be surprised if he turned out this season.

I have heard some decent recruits have been made to the Bays, and as always they seem pretty confident of turning it around.

However, I believe Anthony Malcolm, one of the club's best may have already moved clubs to West(?) i think.

Andrew Hoffmann, if he can get over his injuries, will be the one to put this club back on track.

Yeah, there's a few in the Bay's long service list in the reserves.

Usually have quite a good reserves side.

Adrian Jones and Jason Verhaaf are two who made regular A grade appearances in their latter senior days.

Rumor has it that Norths have to remodel their club room so that Prokopec can fit his jaw through the front door.

...they say that sometimes he can be caught impersonating the one and only roger Ramget
