Check out the mid murray grand final preview.
The armchair experts are predicting Robertstown to get up over Sedan/Cambrai in a close one in the A grade.

RMFL needs an 8th team, would be a good fit. Yes distance is a problem & strength, but if they merge & combine funds just maybe??

I haven't heard very much from our side as i've been away for a bit, however taking to some of the guys i work with in the hills the above vote is correct. None of them want either BSR or S/C to join and the main reason is the travel. Have heard that Kangarilla have approached Southern or Great Southern, cant remember which one, in regards to a second comp down there next year.

I think there is still a meeting set down for the 20th, so it's just a case of wait and see what comes of it. I won't affect me too much from a playing perspective as I'm officially retired now.

Sounds about right, Kangy would finish about 13th or 14th in a one div comp hence them pushing again for a two div comp

Nah mate it was a result of my final visit to my surgeon. Option 1 play maybe one or two more years. Option 2 be able to kick a footy with kids a few years down the track.

I chose 2.

Not to sure what the status of the Eudunda - Robertstown merger is at this stage, also there was a write up in either the River News or the Riverland Weekly, can't remember which one, from Les Marr regarding Morgan/Cadells future. From what i can recall it read that they might drop the seniors to make sure the juniors survive, where they would go I'm not sure.

Sparky, see Jason Rosey is heading back to Ango. Big loss, along with your retirement of course, although you looked good in the runners top!! How's the club going, lost any others? Reckon Sedan might struggle in the Hills unless some major recruiting is done. Pity bout Morgan though, was always on the cards.

What do you reckon of a BSR/Sedan merger down the track and heading to the RMFL or BL&G? Do you reckon it would have a chance of working? I ask because the two options both clubs have. ie Hills or Indys have so many compromises. A merge would mean footy and netball could continue in the current format.
