It's pretty basic maths.

Two Wells played AV at home twice last year and were definitely considering seeking compensation from the league as it put them about $4k down on what their usual home game takings would be against any other club.

That's $4k they've got to make up elsewhere.

Every other APFL club, depending on their home game financials, would be between $1500 to $2000 worse off for hosting the Owls.

These are just facts, I found a fair few of the Owls players pretty genuine blokes who want to have a kick. This situation is hardly the fault of those lads either.

Travis beard moving to Sydney for work again.
Heard he is coming back occasionally to play for long plains. Will still be a big loss not having him for the whole season.

And to add to it can see a clearance lodged for Wilson-King back to the ammos.

Any one watched or seen any trials yet and results?

Have heard Mallala got a bit of a touch up by South Gawler over the weekend in their trial game! Something like over 80points!! Not sure how many Mallala lads weren’t playing but South had apparently 8 starting A graders missing.

Reckon the Magpies were battling for numbers pretty badly, from what I've heard.

No.

But given the Tigers have been troubled with injuries in recent seasons, I don't think they've every played with their full allocation on the park.

So they're deliberately oversubscribing this year in the event something does happen to a points player etc.
