To play under 17's for the rest of the year I'm told(at Kapunda}.
Had an acrimonious split with them last year. Are they willing to forgive and forget if he does this?

Geez not much different to AV, Kapunda u17's have lost every game bar 1 by 100+ points and hardly score most weeks

They probably will with him playing and 100 points might seem more appealing than 200 or 300?

AV and HB contributing one player is a sorry statement for a league with a limited number of teams
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

The whole thing is a joke how many over 28 years of age play shows how they
rate the leagues reputation should be 1 in all in

NAFA had heaps pull out, they have no suspension rule, and won the comp. And they don't have a bye.

I don't understand the need for the two consolation finals, the day drags on forever and there's very little intensity in the two 3rd vs 4th play offs.

I was surprised with the skill level shown by the YPFL Under 17's, some of our lads who generally stand out found the going tough on Saturday, I thought we got the arse end of the stick with the umpiring and it seems as though sling tackles are fine in other comps.

Talking to BJ during the day and he pointed out that the APFL umpires are being told to crack down on two motion and sling tackles, they are tough to determine but you can generally work out the intention of the tackler.

Agree. Most guys that are 28+ years who would've played were it compulsory have played association footy for years and in most cases, now have different priorities in their lives.
Surely providing opportunity for younger blokes to play at a higher level should be a priority for the league. Association teams in the past have proven that it is not always about the cattle, its mainly about how many of those who rock up to play on the Saturday are serious about playing and put in 100% - irrespective of age.

Which is largely illustrated by NAFA winning it in relatively comprehensive fashion.
