Photo announcement was on the HBFC Facebook page, which the SA Footballer just poaches but anyway..

Matty is relatively local, would be well-known in the area. I've dealt with him through his captaincy at Gilbert Valley CC and he's got a great head on his shoulders. Not sure on his footy background but I'll check it out!

Oh, I've been checking their FB page pretty much daily, regardless, hopefully they can get themselves a bit closer to the pack.

Know of one very good applicant they spoke too as well but were too late as he had already signed a coaching gig but would've liked the challenge.

Virginia look to be spending more money on top of the blokes hanging around from last year, would love to see the books against “the books” when it comes to player payments   Any news out of United with players and a coach? They were quite competitive in every game of the second half of the season, looked like they had finally got a group that gelled! Let’s hope they can keep them all unlike the last couple of years... is Balak on the hunt for a coach?

Hold man played out there for a while and his grandparents used to run the canteen.

Going to be a crowded forward line with Big Nik, Jessen and Rhys up there, he'll probably have to add some more strings to his bow.

If he had more strings he'd still be a centrals. Talent but lazy and will never be fit. Credit to him to he has dropped some weight he had as a kid but is too slow and goes to ground all the time

He does do a fair amount of running aside from trainings but you're assessment is pretty much what I was told after seeing him at Central's training's last season but lining up at South Gawler each week, I haven't seen him play for a few years, he was a standout junior but he was far bigger than most too.

Matt Norman has a sound football background and is a very good people person. Played 3 years at Hamley Bridge (2007-2009) and then moved onto RSMU where he played in an A Grade flag (2014 from memory), as well as winning the B Grade association B&F a couple of years ago. Expect a few past players to return to Hamley.

Stanley's a confirmed out. Not sure on other 2.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
