What about the big fella from the South East who appeared in the West End ads.
I can't remember his name, I remember his brother Kavvy.
He must have had a fair bit of talent that bloke....

Is that Michael Timms you're referring to? I was at a game in the MSE in 2007 and he was playing a game of B Grade for Port McDonnell, must have been in early to mid 40's i think.

I think he may have tried out with Glenelg in the 80's, not sure why he didn't go further.

That's it, Timmsy.

I billeted his brother in SAPSASA.

Apparently once got hit by a car and played the next day, or something like that...

Brad's back at Loxton North.
He's a senior player there now and he has two kids.
Has two flags with the club to his name.

Exactly the point. They have way too much ability to be playing at their current level. Neither have the drive nor work ethic to play to their potential.

Another one to add to this this list..

Brett Wakefeild...Played at south during his younger days and to this day could still be playing at a league club. Very fast, talented footballer.
I suppose its the same with all these names though, the work ethic isnt there to strive further :?

This isnt the guy who plays for kangies is it?? Dont think he rates even close to the other guys mentioned here, if we start listing average country footballers then this thread will be 1000 pages long in no time.

Simon Sumner - Paringa, United, Berri.

Can kick on both feet, but a huge left foot that is deadly accurate.
Unfortunately went off the rails a bit, but can still dominate on his day.

What about Sean 'Gonzo' Gray.

Anyone that can kick 90+ goals in a season for a team well outside the finals, and from a wing could have played at any level. Trained very rarely and found it very hard to find suitable employment.

Not so much the grog.

And eating three meals a day may have helped as well.
