I played there in my younger days 1973 prelim final which we lost when the WBFL was a very strong league.
I caught up with Brian Rogers an absolute gun CHB the other day and we discussed how the saints have been cellar dwellers for the last few years and we both are a bit dissappointed at their showing.
Some of the older players I can remember from that era

David Bertelsmier Coach (spelling)
Diamond Bob Murray...one of the best Country players I have ever seen
Brian Sculley
Brian Rogers
Brian and Ian Baker
Carl Cytrowski
Kevin Johnson
Ian Grosser
Bill Armfield, Mike armfield, Frank Armfield
Peek Boys
1974 Coach ..Crowe ex Fitzroy ruckman

remember big diamond well, also remember his last game of footy, 1983 gf, went out in style

I believe it's their centenary year too this year, I hope it's good for them.

Know a few of these blokes. Bertles went out and coached Hatherleigh, then much later went up and was GM of South Adelaide. Brian Rogers is a great bloke. Havent seen him for a lot of years. The 2 Bakers ended up at Mt Burr I think. If it is them, the were very good out at the Burr for quite a few years. Ian Grosser was/is a legend. Gave me one of his old number 22 gernseys when I was a lad. Used to wear it as a training jumper.Armfield boys are just great blokes. Mike coached me in under 12's. We won the flag. Not sure if Bill or Frank have still got the Kingston pub. Merv Peek was a very good footballer and top bloke. Went to school with his sons and played footy with them as well. Sadly he isnt with us any more.
And I probably know you to Yetti!!

Breaking News!!
Shaun Elletson will not be playing with Millicent in 2009. Sorry fellas, looks like you might have to get a bigger cheque book next time!!! Millicent would be soundly disapointed that theyve let this fish off the hook. Bad Luck Millies!!

Massive lose, reports have been made that he has asked Plympton Football Club for $520 a game and they are giving him $600. Very good money for a consistent b grade player. I spose when another young gun at the club Ross Ronald Kevin Dudley Ronaldo Moore get paid $1350 a match money does grow on trees at the might BULLDOGS.....
