Sadly I'll be in Adelaide until Sunday. Hoping to leave early enough Sunday morning so that I can see the last few games.

PS: Goof Smith described as a big loss to the club in this week's Weekly. A nice comment I think.

At training on Tuesday Nite, E/Bay can't get Accommodation & Mitchell
the Coach is going to pull the pin on Loxton & Have a trial game against
the Morphett Vale Emus (Yet to be confermed), as they are staying in
our club (E/Bay) on a camp for the weekend.

Modra possibly playing for Encounter Bay.

Loxton still looking for another team.
Just stay in swags and tents in the camping grounds behind the oval. Best way to do it. And if you're effort on Saturday night has been good enough, you won't realise where you pass out anyway.

Although accommodation may be a issue also my source tells me its a numbers issue, bays cant get enough to trainings let alone travel to Loxton....

Think you have hit the nail on the head. Struggling to get any more than 2 dozen on the track
and this weekend I know 4 players have Tennis Grand Finals including the Brown Brothers.
Don't know where we are going to find a B-Grade from this year, few injuries etc.
Can see our B-Grade finishing bottom 2.

No results as yet.

Have heard though there was a scrap between the Gawler South boys and Loxton on Saturday night.

And apparently in Sunday's game an EP bloke spent the whole game spewing.

Apparently EP beat Pembroke by 3 goals on Staurday. Don't know what the EP team was like but it was the Pembroke captain's wedding so they were a fair bit short.

Some rough results.

Saturday

Walkerville d Loxton by a few points
Imperials d Gawler Sth by a few goals (i think)
EP d Pembroke
unsure of the rest

Sat Night

THere was some full on chanting going on in the Pig Trough at the Loxton Pub. I think it was the EP boys going nuts. No surprise about the EP bloke spewing on sunday.

Sunday

Imperials d Loxton
rest of results unknown

How long do these Loxton Carnival games go for? Is it something like four 15 minute quarters?

Is someone able to provide the final scores for the games played over the carnival? or the final standings?
