Last Years top 4:
Nuri
Cents
South
Freeling
If these teams havent lost too many out of the age group, I think they spaced the rest last year, and could do the same this year...

Liking the look of Freeling this year having well and truly schmacked APFL senior colts premiers Two Wells and NEFL senior colt premiers RSMU in trials in the past two weeks.
Centrals should be the benchmark this year though, haven't lost many.
Centrals
Freeling
Nuri
Tanunda

Apparently Kapunda were smashed by Waikerie by about 100 points, can't see them winning many this year especially with the talent they've lost to seniors. Platten, Ryan, Ruppelt, Norman.
Also Barossa had a win over Modbury. Haven't lost many and could be a dark horse in the 17's.

Yea Freeling look very good with Doherty, Cocks, Barnes, McCard, Schmidt, the Martin Twins and other senior players leading the way. Not to mention all the first year players coming through like Ashenden, Holloway, Robinson and Ruediger performing well. They look to be a very solid team this year.

Nuriootpa v Mallala
Tanunda v Brighton
Angaston v Loxton North
Willaston v South Gawler
Barossa Districts v Modbury
Gawler Centrals v Renmark
I think those were the games played.
Don't have any results though.

U17's should be a good standard this year, hopefully all players will play in good spirtits and not give the umpys too much

Lindsay moving to Robertstown and playing in a trial for kapunda was more of a kick in the pants then a farewell game. In my opinion he is letting down a team that will struggle this year and could of done with all the experience possible.

I think Lindsay will make the best decision to suit the team, but he can't be obligated to follow whatever the team wants. However he is leaving to go to a worser competition though.
Tough Call.
Is he getting paid?

He is getting paid, but its to play for Robertstown, who are possibly in the worst league in the state! if he was doing what suits the team best he would stay!

Robertstown surely don't have the money to pay a junior.

From what I can gather, Kapunda is a fair distance from Robertstown.
That league is very ordinary and possibly folding.
Having said that Kapunda will struggle this season, but Justin Zazadrea return could have an influence.
What would you do?
If it was just $100, i wouldn't because of the fuel price.
