To the lads that made the team of the carnival well done, Haskett, Thomas, Portlock, Peglar, Vick and Ellis but all players were fantastic for the whole weekend.

If any player ever gets asked to play in this championship encourage them to do it! U make great friends, play some top quality football and you get to test yourself against the best from around the state!

Cheers

Well done to the Southern Districts team, great effort and to Mitch Portlock, seems very much the big game player that he is! ;)
Was a bit surprised to not see Shane Bradshaw's name on your list of players to be named in the team of the carnival there BJ, considering he was in the best players every game and best on ground for one of them. Do you think he should've been in there?
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Panther yes i believe he was very very unlucky and everyone else agreed. Braddy had a fantastic weekend, as you would know his ability to read the ball, clean hands and beautiful left foot kick make him a formidable player. An oversight by the selection panel but in fairness there were a lot of good players up there.

A few lads were very stiff to miss the team i thought considering we won both games on Saturday by 8-10 goals and then won the final! In the end we got what we went there for so anything on top was a bonus for the lads but it would have been nice for Shane to get some recognition for a great weekend of footy!
