Think this new thread will be a winner. Liquid Confidence has installed plenty of confidence into the BLG for 2009. His tip of Tanunda making it back to back will be on the 'money'.
Gawler Central will need a couple of quality imports if they are to reach second spot and i believe Nuriootpa will make the top four. Dont under estimate the power of Prouse at Freeling either.
South Gawler could be an interesting one if they can get a couple of new quality players they could be a force, their depth is their problem.
If Willaston can sign Johncock then expect them to do much better in 09', he is going great guns at Sturt and he would be silly not to stay at Sturt, if not nominate for the AFL draft.

LC - love the 'freshness' of a new forum... however we should all advocate for others to place purely footy related posts on this thread, and leave their insolent banter elsewhere... How can we gently persuade all and sundry to use one BLG thread only?? Perhaps we could stir up the moderator?? As it stands we all have to look at both threads for current info...

Can anyone substantiate the whisper that Brad Taylor (GC) has signed with Salisbury North?? I thought he had signed with Modbury??
Tim Clarke was the #1 player in the AFL

For anyone interested...

Aaron Bayliss won SGFC's B&F saturday night. Anthony Johnstone was R/U...

Also heard that only 6 A graders showed up to Willaston's B&F night... that is disappointing for the club.

P Vivian @ Kapunda in 2009 is growing legs...

Kapunda the agressor in the chase.

Be interested to see if GC's have called him to have a chat...
After all they didnt get rid of him last time, he left due to time issues...

I have heard that Barmera have offered Tanundas Full Fwd $900 for next year though?

obvioulsy can play, kennedy is his name isn't it.

This was taken from another thread... Pretty good cash to be turned down, question is, is it actually a raise from what he's on at Tanunda... B&S care to shed any light on the matter!

Hasnt been offered it officially yet, but its a strong rumour around the magpies that he will be offered it. He would more than likely rather a offer to try out at an SANFL club again if anything.

Angaston B&F held Friday night, good turn out by the senior group. Congrats to Craig Harvey ( winner) and Brad Hughes ( runner-up ) on thier wonderful seasons.

Also thought SJ handled himself with class (minus his outfit) and wish him all the best in the hills.

Shows a bit of character for him to go, even though he left the club, not the other way around.

Same with Leal going to the Freeling awards.

Cant be said for all the coaches leaving posts in the BL&G though.
