Can anyone confirm if Leske is staying with Freeling or heading to town as reported?

Considering GC's applications close this Friday, I would assume that both parties will wait for the outcome of the GC job, especially if EP want to keep Payne!

Word has it that Matt Herrmann (2008 BLG Junior Coach of the Year) is also in the running for the Gawler Central A-Grade job, we have heard in the valley that he is very well respected throughout the league and at Central District and if Gawler Central dont pick him up then Central District will.
Matt Herrmann has a few positives compared to other coaches names have been put on this forum. It could be a worry if a couple of possible candidates get the job and start staying out on the p**s all night long.......... GC Players will walk all over a coach that acts like that...
Would think they would need a coach like Herrmann to guide them through the next few years as w all know how successful he is with juniors coming through.

Heard a bloke, surname Miller has applied for eastern Park and GC jobs....only been in Adelaide for a year or so. Wouldn't have thought he would have the contacts to recruit too heavily? Apparently coached Brahma Lodge in div 6 last year...

Along with the signing of Steve Brooks, as stated on another threard from Stirlo.

It makes the Donnybrooks list look alot stronger and settled with Seelander at the helm.

No sorry Boozehound not suggesting your beloved Payne would do this...
Although it baffles me why he wants out of a club (has thrown his hat in the ring at Freeling, Kapunda and Gawler Central) thats goin up into Div 2 that he guided to a Grand Final in Div 3 when he has been at Eastern Park for a long time???

Mike 'Dusty' Millar is his name he has years of experience coaching the Wanderers in the NTFL.

Lose: McLean x 2 & Coghill
Gain: Brooks

Not sure how thats a lot more settled, you cant say the Bakers and Norsworthy are staying, because they were there last year, so no change...

Even if the Baker boys stay, Brooks would have to be as good if not better as 3 blokes to make Willaston a better side!
If they go, well long season ahead for Seelander!

Your kidding yourself Hafey!

Would be a very good appointment from what i have seen of him, just comes across as someone who players seem to want to play for, and he seems to be very well respected.

I am told that Central Districts have been after him for a while, so IF GC were smart they would snap him up quickly, otherwise he will be at doggy land in no time!

This coaching saga has more episodes than 'The young & the restless' Where does Mark Brandt stand in this, not required or what? Told to reapply or otherwise?
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

Brant apparently told not required, so assume told not to pe-apply...

Thought they would have told him that they were going to advertise, no promise you'lll get the job, best applicant wins...

Stirlo and his crew seem to be keeping everything a secrert for some reason regarding this appointment, hence the "Y&R" feel...

Booze, dont tell me now after all the spruiking of CP, you are getting worried about other applicants
